Score from 102 reviews Wonderful
The quality of the facilities were good. Very spacious. Breakfast provided at flexible times. Homely.
Location was terribly inaccessible unless travelling by car. There isn't anything nearby.
It was very close to the racecourse and the owner was friendly.
It was very isolated and in need of refurbishment.
the bed was very comfortable room was clean
lumpy milk / cold tea at breakfast asked for toast and were told it was in the basket on window ledge... maybe the american lady serving breakfast would need to learn that bread actually needs to be toasted to be called toast. maybe rachel was on holidays but we didnt get the warm welcome talked about in other reviews
we felt very welcome, the dinner option was superb, great atmosphere
Lots of character, big room, you could walk to the lake.
Hard to find, needs more signage.
Raychel was very friendly
We felt the room needed a very good cleaning.Plugs were vere dirty and stained. We found hairs in the bed and on the window board
Great traditional breakfast, beautiful lake just a short walk down a quiet back road. Off the beaten bath. Our Host was so willing to spend time with us and give us recommendations with directions.
There was nothing we didn't like.
Located within a 5 minute hike to a quiet, big, beautiful lake. Incredible room and breakfast, but most of all, Rachel is an outstanding host! We wish we could have stayed longer.
Welcoming and friendly owner who was happy to help with any queries. Quirky decoration of rooms.
Location a bit out-of-the-way, but nice and quiet.
The owner of the B&B, Raychel was extremely helpful and accommodating! Very nice place to stay. The b&b was beside the lake so there was lots to do. Raychel was always on hand to offer us advice on places to see or do! Would definitely stay here again!
Westport itself was ridiculously expensive! The people in Westport were quite rude and unfriendly. Would defiantly not be in a rush to visit Westport anytime soon
no particular problems. Though there is really only one fair restaurant nearby, Rachael is an excellent cook and will prepare boxed lunches and wonderful suppers
The owner of the B&B, Raychel went out of her way to be friendly. We were without a car due to a mistake from our car hire company so were not able to fully explore the area, however Raychel was kind enough to offer us a lift.
Raychel was very helpful in terms of directions
Cold shower, smell of dog as soon as we entered the house, while sitting having breakfast in the morning, water dripped thru the ceiling from upstairs and Raychel said it was because the people upstairs didn't have the bath mat in the right place, also her pet rabbit died and she lay it on top of the kitchen bench, which is not very hygienic in terms of preparing food for guests in the same room
It was homely and adequate. Nice old house. Shower was tight and TV wouldn't work but it was perfectly fine otherwise. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was nice and host was lovely.
Location good for area. Very friendly with a warm welcome. Bedroom and on-suit very nice.
Local area not good for restaurants
