The hotel is lovely and a great place to stay

Staff were excellent

Lift was broken and my parents were elderly. Overall a great hotel.

The size of the room, & bathroom was huge. Breakfast was typical but good. Friendly staff.

Room a little chilly.(Time of year though!!!) Shower not very powerful. Toilet didn't flush properly

The owner was really nice to us. When we arrived the kitcken was closed but Carlo (italian traslation of his Gaelic name!) was so kind to us letting us having our dinner cooking some delicious meal. Wonderful and reccomended. Marco&Martina

I liked most things about this hotel

The only fault was that the toilet didn't flush properly

The staff were very friendly, breakfast was good and cooked fresh. There was music and everything was priced fairly. The owner of the hotel was very helpfull. I booked a twin room but got a double room but later that night i asked owner and he said there was no problem changing but we stayed where we were.

It was cold in the bar and there could have been more of a choice for breakfast. The towels are small. There is not much in Swinford i found it very derelict and gloomy. I would only recommend hotel for staying overnight if going to the airport or as a stop gap going to somewhere else. The double bed could be bigger for a hotel it was small.

Excellent value for money with a lovely atmosphere & crispy cotton sheets.

On my trip I stayed in some very nice hotels which had more stars and luxuries then the Gateway but out of all of them I rate this one the best purely for the service and friendliness of the staff which made me feel more welcome and comfortable.

The staff are absolutely fabulous, could not do anymore for you, rooms are basic but comfy, and breakfast was fantastic!!

Absolutely excellent. Large spacious bedrooms. Modern decor. Clean, warm. Excellent breakfast. A bar you could relax in and stay for the night. Great food and all at the right price.
