Quiet peaceful location
No much to do in hotel
Loved that we could leave our car there whilst we went on holiday
Near to airport and Swords, good restaurant
tea cups not washed properly showing sugar residue from previous guest
I loved the young receptionist was chatting her up for ages very pretty and very friendly :-)
The location was a bit out and very badly sign posted
I liked the location the food was nice staff were nice
Bookings that we made were totally messed up by one staff member resulting in extra money been charged the bar was extremely expensive €5.65 for a bottle of Budweiser is very over the top .
Price was best in that area, quite area which was nice for relaxing at night
Location was further from swords then was said on the Web site, guy at the desk half checked me in walked away and the lady that came onto the desk didn't know why I was just standing there he had to come back and say oh ya sorry can you check this lady in, found it very unprofessional
The facility is new, clean, and well laid out. The hotel rooms are in back away from the dining area and party rooms, which helped make them quieter. I liked that there were a lot of local folks there for parties and dinner on a Saturday night. It felt like we were seeing a part of Ireland we didn't see in more touristic areas. The staff worked really hard and were helpful.
We ate there because Kettles Country House wasn't actually in Swords and we couldn't walk around and pick somewhere else to eat and drink. The food was okay, not great. The beer selections, and yes, Ireland is beginning to find beers other than Guinness and bad lager imports like Budweiser, were limited, but they did have one local microbrew, so that helped.
Would have liked a bit of entertainment as it was weekend night
Peace & quiet, value for money
Noisy bedroom, pricey meals
Our room wasnt ready so the manager was very appologetic and put us into the Bridal Suite! Also the breakfast was really tasty, plenty of it and good value for money.
Clean room and staff really helpful, the receptionist gave me her personal charger for my telephone: many thanks!
You should put the correct address on booking (with the civic number) since our tom tom couldn't find the hotel (we had to ask)
The best breakfast ever.
Nice hotel, relaxing and friendly staff. Good atmosphere in bar. Will come again.
Could do with more menus in room. Only found Guest book an hour before we left. We dined elsewhere but have in hotel had we see a menu. Leaking shower curtain could be sealed in R104. Rang reception a few times but no answer. Maybe should be diverted to bar.
I booked one night on your website for my self and my wife my daughter and her partner came home for dinner and decide to stay over night the problem is we done it on the website thinking you would get it cheaper but they got it cheaper plus breakfast I was very disappointed with their website
I was very disappointed in the whole night I would have been better off Booking it through the Hotel and I will get it cheaper it is not the money it is just the principle of it
Seemed like a hotel made too much for gatherings rather than overnight stays.
Its a pity for 55 euro it didnt include breakfast as I had to get transport to swords
Handy for the airport. Very friendly staff. Goods service.
Staff so helpful, I did not stay myself but the person that did was very impressed. Shuttle bus to airport very good.
Great photography on the website which does make it look like anything it really is
The hotel is not exactly a country house, it is located in a country side but it is a new build surrounded by large parking which makes it feel like motel rather than a country house. The building itself is modern and soulless with cheap finish. Pub and restaurant provide the same experience (though the food in the steakhouse itself was all right). In the lunge downstairs Macchiato has confused with moca. The sound insulation was terrible and we could hear people next door and especially every person passing by or talking in the corridor. Black out curtains sadly not fitted to cover widows – I don’t mind but it might be a problem for some.
Hotel and country was nice
Book a room and was just above a hotel planned party for the neighborhood . Music and loud DJ went on until 2am. Our room wAs directly above party.didnt sleep, paid $217!! Unacceptable!
Farther from airport than advertised
Food served for my granddaughter's communion was lovely and your staff were great.
Myself and my husband were over from Wales for my granddaughters communion and the celebrations was in your hotel. We booked in for 2 nights and on the first day we were the first served with breakfast. It was very disappointing. The food was lukewarm and served on a cold plate. The fried potatoes were burnt and inedible. Would have liked to have had hot toast. Before eating on the second morning we did check on the quality of breakfast and it was ok. Except the toast was cold again.
Great place to stay
Helpful staff clean and well looked after
