20 minutes delay at check in, another 20 minutes delay waiting for porter to bring luggage to get changed for dinner, so missed dinner with our group, one hour late !
Worst of all, I had double checked with reception by telephone one week previous on my booking which was made on line with 'Booking.com' in January at discount price, but was charged "full price on the day" on arrival , as if I had never booked at all !
What a pity it spoiled my otherwise good weekend.
My fault for not printing out my booking price quotation with "Booking,com"
Reason given, Paying by Debit Card, NOT Credit Card ! ? ?
Room and food top class, everywhere very clean, staff mostly 100%.
