The hotel was located almost across the street from Kilkenny Castle and the town center. The staff were some of the best we had experienced during our three weeks of traveling and the room was clean and cozy. We were not provided w/ a tea kettle but the staff brought us a pot of tea faster than if we had made tea on our own. While parking was fairly convenient, across a small side street in a public car park, the hotel only reimbursed the parking fee from 6pm to noon of the following day. A good compromise but an additional cost that we were unaware of until check-in. |

It is right in the centre of kilkenny, near everything. and there was a few different bars and restaurants to choose from under one roof. |

The bar was very nice as was the outside patio. The computer did not work well because it was full of viruses. |

When noise of a boiler prevented me sleeping, I was transferred to another room within an hour. Breakfast good and staff helpful Lighting for reading insufficient as there was no overhead light and poor reading lamps. |

Hotel has an excellent location in the center of Kilkenny. Reception staff and breakfast staff were very helpful. The "king bed" was two twin-size mattresses pushed together. Both mattresses sagged. Poor selection of TV channels. The hotel's web site needs a good diagram of its location in the city. |

the staff were very friendly and the rooms were beautiful really elegant.we had a problem with a stain on one of our dresses and when we rang down to reception they sent someone up straight away with club soda, which we really appreciated.and when we were returning home that night there was a night porter who had a list of our names for each room which is great for security. |
