The hotel woz very nice. I really taught the leisure centre woz very nice.
Central location. Large room. Windows you can open. Clean bathroom. Good light in bathroom for putting on make-up. Efficient and helpful staff at reception.
Seeing empty beer bottles outside front door when we first arrived. Radiator in room you couldn't adjust or turn off therefore too hot to sleep properly. Soya milk available in dining room the first morning but not available the second morning of our stay. Pot of hot water brought to table first morning but on the second morning waiter told me to go to the flask at the breakfast bar and get it myself but he didn't supply me with a pot. I wanted more than one cupful therefore had to get up and down a few times and had to dip my teabag in and out of cup every time I refilled and nothing to put the wet teabag into so wet mess on table.
Everything withing walking
Great hotel in a central location.
People - so easy going, relaxed and still professional. Foyer - relaxed atmosphere; great space to chill Location - so central Leisure Centre - very good, well divided between children's classes and the space for guests.
(A New Innovation???!!!!)Pay at Check-In: Just because 1 guest in the group paid on check-in, others should not be asked when they arrive if they want to pay then......we were having Spa Treatments..........could have being buying more!!!! Spas Crossing the Street: You should tell your guests(at check-in) how to get to the Spa & Leisure Centre without going across the street; only found it by accident after using the street; we could have slumbered over, underground!!! Check Your Rooms: Broken ironing board; Disturbed: pity staff did not know we were in when they entered our room and we were all having a sleep in til 9.30am (Friendly & courteous though.....made all the difference Breakfast - Lovely Presentation BUT -Pity there was no cold meats to go with cheeses; -Add chutneys to choice of red and brown sauce. - Fried Red Tomatoes PLEASE Please fry your tomatoes; not heated raw ones - Happy Face!!!: Gentleman replenishing breakfast was the only "unfriendly" person we met throughout our stay - smile, be pleasant, say "morning"; this would make all the difference - to him too (I know he's busy, maybe it cultural barrier, but still.....) No Chips Please: Check your crockery - chipped milk jug,
Good location, reduced rate parking, comfortable room.
Wi-fi only available in lobby, not in rooms.
Excellent food, friendly staff. Great location. Secure off street parking. Very good breakfast.
No atmosphere in the bar. Extra supplements in the restaurant on the 'inclusive' meal menu.
Very clean and well presented hotel with great facilities. Very comfortable rooms. Nice friendly staff. Great location. Will stay again!!
The weather was very warm during our stay. We found the lack of climate control/air conditioning in the rooms a big negative. It's a pity because aside from that the rooms are very comfortable.
Great younge man in the pub gave great service ( red head)
Water pressure and temperature in shower was a problem .
Personal touch by staff, staff friendly, helpful, chatty, always available. Pool. Room size. Breakfast choice. Great buzz in hotel ! Outside seating area.
Poor lighting in room, unable to read anything. No top sheet on bed.
Nice room. Walking distance to both the castle and great eateries. Staff were great, when the wi-fi failed, she gave us use of her desktop machine. Cheap(ish) parking across the road.
The staff were friendly and cooperative. Clean and welcoming . Very good fun
The parking facilities
I had expected the room to have robes etc available for guests to use the leisure facilities but there was none. Also, the phone in the room didn't work
I stayed in this hotel because I was attending a wedding there.I found the room was only alright but outside our windows were extractor fans or something similar that were going all night long, could not open the window for air cause the noise from them was too loud.Would stay here again but will make sure the next room will be far away from the last one
Central location Spa staff very pleasent Spa facility lovely
Pool was dirty and changing areas. Bed was very uncomfortable, bathroom dirty. Room much much smaller then pictured and very dark dingey and old fashioned compared to lovely reception area Staff at reception very unhelpful and very very rude and dismissive just because we are a young couple we felt as a customer not valued at all. Decided not to stay next 2 nights.
Every thing special the location for me the only place to stay in killkenny
Very friendly helpful staff, in an excellent city centre location!
Restaurant seemed to book out very early and we should have been told this when checking in, in order to get a meal at the time we wanted!
hotel and staff were lovely, we were upgraded to a junior suite which was a nice surprise as we didn't request an upgrade. had an issue with heating in the room but that was sorted straight away. breakfast was lovely and the staff in the restaurant were more than helpful.
The situation near the main streets
Parking across the road and had to pay
The hotel and complex with the fitness center was fantastic. The room was up to date and clean. Breakfast was good and the location to the castle was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Kilkenny
Only 1 thing-The bed. I change of mattress is needed,
location is perfect
the rooms are big, but really old, the bath had cracks in it and wasn't nice and clean. also the hotel is very big and noisy, too many rooms and visitors, it didn't give the "country side" intimate feeling. also, there is a pub near the hotel, there was shouting at midnight which woke up us in both of the nights.
Enjoyed the bar and the breakfast, didn't like the wait for your coffee and toast before you got up to help yourself.
very central location, staff very welcoming, friendly and obliging, food very good hotel very clean throughout, very comfortable beds, good sized bedrooms and great to have free wi-fi in bedrooms, lovely getting free newspaper.
was very satisfied with everything, well done to all.
The noise outside in the morning
