The ambience and the overall care of establishment's staff
A positive experience all round. Would go back again when the occasion arrives.
everything and particularly the manager and other staff are extra kind.
I had put in many requests when reserving my room and all were met as specified. The Proprietor (I presume) who greeted me was most welcoming. I had asked for a warm room this I got and the bed was extremely comfortable with extra blankets provided on a very frosty winter's night. Tea and toast was brought to my room which was a real treat as it was not included in the deal - I was very impressed and greatly appreciative. Yes, this Guesthouse met my needs and was excellent value for money. Those personal touches do make the difference in my opinion. Thank you to the staff at Killarney House. Sheelagh
There was no wifi in my room I had to go to a landing to get access which I did not do. However, this fact did not impact on my stay as it allowed me time to read and relax. Not an issue for me as my stay was superb.
This place has a nice home atmosphere. The room was clean, bedlinen and towels arranged perfectly, shower gels and soaps in the bathroom. Tea & coffee making facilities as promised.
The folding door to the bathroom is a disaster and should be replaced with a normal door.
Bed was comfortable, room spotless, tea making facilities, peace and quiet..
Shower cubicle was too small, water took too long to heat up and not much power flow..
The owner was very welcoming..real lady...happy with accommodation.
Great location and the rooms were really big. It was quiet and the staff were friendly! Great location. Would stay here again
The size of the bathroom, it was too small! The toilet was so close to the wall you could barely use it and the shower was really small to! I'd consider myself a trim guy and it was really uncomfortable!
Was noisy, poor sound insulation, could hear couple next door talking and making love! Shower fitting loose would not stay in position, needed to hold it in hand. Over priced. Would not stay there again.
Very friendly owner. Great location with a short walk to the city center. 1st floor room with a bathroom - nice. They listened to my request for this when I booked it on line.
B&B means bed & breakfast, however the extra E9/morning for breakfast goes against the nature of a bed AND breakfast.
Wireless signal should be enhanced I live in the room at the top floor and can hardly search the signal. Except this, the rest aspects are excellent.
the value for money makes every other b&b and even the bigger hotels look ridiculously over priced you're basically stayin in an apartment i really hate wasting money staying anywhere else 5 stars :)
that i couldnt rent out the place for longer, not even exaggerating this place is unreal :)
Good location & good car parking
near ucc nice breakfast wi-fi and heating were ok
No wifi in room no phone
Staff were friendly and very helpful Location (20minutes walk to hospital) Plenty of car parking off the main street. Nice choice of breakfasts, from the buffet and also the order menu. Willingness of staff to speak Gaeilge was nice and made you feel very homely. Highly recommended for people overnighting at University Hospital Cork, shopping at Wilton or enjoying a night or two in the city.
Rooms at front can be a bit noisy with the road noise, though this is not a fault of the premises.
The people are always very pleasant to me. The location is ideal for work.
Owner side we are taking baths out of our rooms anyway so thats that. Also it turned out our was in the b&b next door not the one we booked
Didn't give us a room which we requested
My daughter n her girlfriend stayed down there. They had a lovely time n felt real homely there. They will be back.
Within walking distance of city centre, about a 10min walk. Off street private parking.
The room The shower The bed Unhelpful staff
We was staying there while looking for an apartment in Cork. They was very accomodating as we was unsure if we would be staying each night hoping to find a place to live. We ending up staying for 5 nights. The staff were friendly and helped with our problems, the night staff were also very friendly and helpful
Some of the double rooms are quite small but they let us choose another one which was a very nice one.
The bed was terabal
This is my best place in Cork... very welcoming. I'd visit Cork again only to stay there. Next to city center. Warm and welcoming staff, good assorted breakfast, comfy facilities, free and spacious parking, quite neighborhood (though traffic passes but won't bother unless you have real sleeping ailment), next to Fitzgerald park and so on... Also Jacuzzi in bathroom. Price is worth it. Actually cheaper for the quality if you ask me.
None for me... to be honest. Our stay were made so much comfortable...
