The jaccuzzi tub didn't work
While there was a new bath and shower you had to step into the very deep bath to shower. Difficult for older people particularly one who has had a hip replacement. Wi Fi only works in public areas which is annoying
We'll located. Older style place which seems to attract a student type clientele
Wifi in room was horrible. We booked 2 nights in the luxury double and due to street noise had to request a different room for second night so we could sleep. Not sure what the luxury was?
Staff were friendly and parking was included.
The staff are very friendly. They have plenty of parking. I really enjoyed the breakfast, very tasty. :-)
Rooms to small dark , bathroom very small
Only that the TV reception was a little bit poor.
Because it is right beside the city center, and not in it, it was quiet at night. The hostess was friendly. It was also comfortable: the room was a reasonable size, the bed and en suite were good. I missed this place when I moved onto other accommodation in Cork that week.
Bad isolation, as I couldn't sleep from the road noise.
Clean and good space room. The facilities were perfect too.
Breakfast wasn't included in the nightly rate eventhough it was quite expensive compared to other b&b's along western road and washington street
Rooms are very small & cold. Wifi is poor or not available. Better rooms available in nearby B&B (Crawford or Garnish house) for same price range.
The location is very good
Noisy neighbour's above
On arrival we were made so welcome. The room was large and very clean with towels changed daily. The breakfast was excellent, don't miss the Hot Scones. Thank you for a wonderful 4 day stay
Offered a basement room at first.
The bathroom was slightly too small. At some point, though it wasn't supposed to happen (according to the staff), there was no more hot water. But the problem - whatever it was - was solved within the day.
A very kind and helpful staff. A very good room service. A comfortable room in the whole. I got the most isolated room of the hotel, as per my request.
Nothing what so ever
The staff were awefully kind and sweet to me
It was cold in our room even after complaining and wifi didn't work upstairs
Location, beds and breakfast
If you get a room in the main Killarney house you will not like it. Rooms are small, dated, very cold even in April, wifi is terrible. And this for €60 a night
If you get a room in the Crawford House building, it is excellent. Large rooms, comfortable, well appointed. Excellent.
The wifi did not work in our room and the room was very small. It was cold at times too.
This was a nice place 10 mins from town and the owners were lovely. Parking was great. We had a lovely time and it was special for us as we got engaged here.
The bathrooms are really small and the plastic sliding doors don't really keep privacy between the bathroom user and who's in the bedroom. I also think that breakfast is overpriced but there are cafe's nearby for cheaper.
I liked how short of a walk it was from the centre but far enough to be quiet. The staff are friendly And rooms are kept cleaned and re-stocked daily.
Breakfast was over priced so we only had it on 1 morning.
Location was good, bed was very comfortable.
Bathroom taps, knobs either loose or not working, required re-grouting round shower, shower curtain pole rusty, mould on sealant on bath Bed screws not tight, so wobbled abit. Would not recommend
Location-10 minute walk into centre. Great breakfast. Spotless and clean towels daily. Friendly staff.
The breakfast was not included, the bedroom and bed was tiny! Overpriced for what it was.
The ubication is good, there was a nice woman attending us!
Some noise from the street outside as I was sleeping at the front of the house
The owner welcomed me personally then delivered a tea tray to my room with an almond finger and two kit kats.
wiFi not working.telly connection very poor. Breakfast was expensive for the amount for food being served.
For a BnB, breakfast was extra, 7.50 per person per night for basic cereal, fruit, yogurt, and 9.50 for a hot breakfast, though it was a slight rip off for the price of the room.
Helpfull staff, great location as e were attending a graduation ceremony at UCC so it was a 2 min walk. Room clean and comfortable, very quiet, hot shower/Jacuzzi tub, room cleaned daily. Late check in possible, we arrived at 23.00.
