1) Front desk person was not helpful. 2) Food was average at best. 3) Limited parking. 4) Bed was small. 5) No TV. One TV station! 6) Front desk person said they would help with clothes that needed to be washed. Still waiting for that!
It was walking distance to the city centre for shopping and dining. It was also across from the university.
Ample off street parking and location is okay
The rooms are a bit dark and depressing but beds are comfortable
Helpful staff. Comfortable room
the location is excellent - very central and allows easy access to the city.
the bathroom in our family room was very small and the sliding door wasn't very secure.
Very central and had car park at the back
The cleanliness, the staff so helpful and cheerful.and the excellient breakfast menu
Location is easily accessed across the street from the university and relatively close to town, with safe off-street parking. Proprietor was very helpful and nice to talk with. Wifi capable, but within limited locations on the property.
No elevator and our room was on the top floor. Lots of steps with heavy luggage to traverse. Located on a busy street, so there was a far amount of road noise.
Located across the road from the beautiful university campus and just a 10-15 minute walk from Cork city center. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.
Wifi did not work well
The food was great and nice variety. The security was great; guest were provided with an entrance key.
They sent us to "college's view apartments" even if we had booked two rooms in the hotel. The bathroom was very small without anything to hang towels on. The sofà was so dirty that we couldn't sit on it. A very bad experience.
Friendly staff, smiles. Nothing any bother. Easy to recommend. James.
double bed too small for 2 adults; no air conditioning or fan; breakfast not included in "bed & breakfast"; small towels; no wi-fi; put up in apartments down the road
Clean, good breakfast.
Easy walk to town...friendly staff...spacious and clean room...be back again
The quality of room, facilities, breakfast, helpful staff.
Room facilities, location.
Climbing 3 floors with a bad knee.
friendly and welcoming staff very clean bed linen close to the parks and town center tea making facilities in the room
no negative comments
We liked the friendly service
The room was meant to be "Luxury" - definitely not luxury. Did not sleep at all because was kept awake by passing traffic (even with closed windows).
Quality of breakfast
All the staff were lovely people with definitely call back again.
simple no fuss location quiet
A good location and choice of breakfast. Accommodation was clean and room changed during our stay. Staff friendly.
We were put in the hotel next door which wasn't staffed. Bed was a bit too hard. On main road so noisy for most of the night.
The staff, in particular the owner/lady who let us use the lounge after arriving early along with supplying Tea, biscuits, cold drinks and some berries picked fresh from the garden.
Room was comfortable. It was a superior one
Be careful to check which currency you are being charged in. I ended up having to pay an extra conversion charge because I was not asked which currency I wanted to pay in.
