the noise in bar with music was crazy loud. you would need a map to find your room.
Beds were really comfy.
The lighting in the bedroom was very dim. With three ladies trying to get ready this was a big issue. We got forgotten at breakfast time, we didn't get our pit of tea until after we had finished breakfast. We had asked for it 3 times. Food was mediocre at lunch and breakfast.
Breakfast was lovely nice selection of hot food and cereals. Great hotel totally geared at kids, kids club fab my son loved it. Swimming pool great and warm hibby loved the sauna, steam bath and jacuzzi. We all enjoyed the crazy golf lots to do to keep the kids amused and give teh parents some time off! Entertainment nightly in the hotel lobby bar was great to relax and enjoy. About 10-15mins walk from the centre of town would definitely stay here again.
Room was a little cold as heating was on a timer but was offered a plug in heater.
Our room was lovely. Breakfast was good. Location good.
The room was too far from the main hotel area, the changing room at pool was cold and smelly. The dinner was only OK and the service was poor
Very family friendly hotel with good facilities for kids and reasonably priced.
Bit dated, could do with a revamp.
Found hotel to be a lovely place. We had a family suite which was huge! It had one room with a double and single bed, bathroom, iron ironing board,tea/coffee facilities, and another room joined with another double bed plus seating area and a kitchen area (no cooking area) but it was a great size room highly recommend it. Breakfast was perfect. Buffet style with a great selection and tasted beautiful.
While the room was fab it was a bit far from the main entrance, got a bit lost trying to find it first as some of the lifts didn't have a 4th floor option so had to use another lift. Bit far from the town as well
Evening meal and breakfast
No heating on until 6 o clock
Car parking was good Food was good Room was a good size Entertainment was good
ambience was not great Customer care needs improving Damp odour in room
Kids club and lots for them to do. Pool was lovely. We got upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite which we weren't expecting so were delighted. Breakfast was excellent
Evening meal in restaurant wasn't great
Good location. Loads of things on to keep the kids entertained all evening. Pool was great.
Rooms were a bit old looking, but still acceptable. Bar drinks and food were pricey, so BYOB!
Swimming pool and Room facilities
Food and general cleanliness around hotel.
The food was excellent and well presented. Reception staff were pleasure to deal with and very efficient. We were delighted with the late check out on Sunday. Leisure center is very nice and clean.
Showers in the leisure center need to be updated and grab rails should be on the side as there is a step in and out of them. More signage for rooms and lift as hotel is quite large so easy to get lost. An vending machine on each floor with drinks.
Upgrade to suite was amazing Very handy to have kitchen with kids
Beds not the most comfy
Almost everything was great. Clean and friendly with plenty for the kids to do.
We had dinner in the restaurant this first night. It was overprice and not good quality. My seafood chowder had plenty of bones in it and the children's burgers were no adequately cooked. We did not eat there the second night.
Very family orientated. Family suite fantastic but very far from reception. Older part of hotel needs renovating
Older part of hotel needs work
The hotel was fantastic for the kids-so much for them to do. great entertainment. They loved it
There was very little staff. Just one lovely lady on her own with a Hugh Que at check in. Also there was only one staff member behind the bar most times
Rooms very hot
I've been staying at this hotel very regularly with nearly thirty years ..... does that say enough?
The male receptionist who checked us in..... not friendly, no personality & never heard of a postal order before in his life!! The female receptionist who came to our aid was, like all the others I ever dealt with there, excellent.
Good hotel for family break. Very suited to cater for young children. Staff very friendly and treated kids very well. Breakfast very busy but well organised and plenty choices for all
Hotel facilities quite shabby could do with a makeover, a bit dated. However very clean.
Great activities and facilities for this age group. Very nice pool. Plenty of space in the suite with good facilities.
Staff member washing the pool deck while we were in the pool and only one staff on duty to cover desk and pool area. Cold jacuzzi and showers on our second morning. Poor organisation of staff during breakfast.
great atmosphere, plenty of activities for kids
queue for the breakfast
Room were very dated and need a lot of work
Liked the room very spacious and kids play area
Didn't like cueing for breakfast waiting awhile for eve meal and kids meals.
Accommodation was great, wine bar , was a wonderful atmosphere , restaurant had great food and a wonderful breakfast , friendly staff, and high on cleanliness
TV a bit dated.
