The newly refurbished Killarney Court Hotel, with full beauty and treatment centre and new children's play room, is excellently located just a few minutes walk from the centre of Killarney.

This hotel has gained a reputation for offering quality service at a great price. Renew Beauty and Treatment Centre, newly opened in 2008, offers an array of beauty and holistic treatments preformed by qualified therapists. Sun shower facilities are available. Children's playroom features a wide range of games, toys, activities, DVD, TV facilities and PlayStation for all ages.

McGillicuddy's at the Killarney Court Hotel won the Dining Pub Guide's Dining Pub of the Year Award 2006. There are many places of interest and historical importance to visit in Killarney, such as waterfalls, churches and monuments. The town is excellent for shops and cinemas. For the sporting enthusiast, there is angling and water sports, golf, riding, orienteering and canoeing and much more. In the evenings, there are pubs, banqueting, cabarets, dancing and drama.

McGillicuddy's at the Killarney Court Hotel won the Dining Pub Guide's Dining Pub of the Year Award 2006. McGillicuddy's pub, with its nostalgic old world charm, has a wonderful atmosphere where you can enjoy a creamy pint, or just watch the world go by. McGuillicuddy's also prides itself with an extensive carvery offering you a wide variety of delicious home made dishes, serving daily from 12:00. McGillicuddy's also has an extensive bar food menu, which is available until 21:00 daily.

Ross Castle (5 km) - Newly restored, this 15th century fortress sits on the edge of the Lower Lake. The tower house is surrounded by a fortification with rounded turrets, and offers a magnificent view of the lakes and islands from its top. Lake cruises are run from the castle.

Muckross House (8 km) - Built in 1843, the rooms portray the lifestyles of the gentry and the working conditions of the servants. Skilled craft workers use traditional methods to produce high quality items of weaving and pottery. The gardens are famed for their beauty.

Torc Waterfall (8 km) - Dramatic falls that originate from the top of Torc Mountain from the Owengarriff River. At the base of the Lower Falls, you'll find a dramatic stairway to the Upper Falls, which will present you with excellent views of the area.

Crag Cave (24 km) - A unique attraction, Crag Cave is formed of limestone. It is a colourful wonderland of stalagmites and stalactites. Discovered in 1983 and thought to be over one million years old, this natural attraction has dramatic sound and lighting effects.

The buffet breakfast offers a great selection. Continuosly topped up with freshly cooked food. The hotel was very quiet at night considering it is by a main road. The location is perfect, only a short stroll into the town. Perfect location for horse-riding, it's just up the road.

The breakfast time should be extended to 12pm as the hotel bar serves breakfast until then.....

The Staff were friendly and helpful at Reception

The bar service was extremely slow and all we requested was some Tea. It is further from the town than we were lead to believe

The reception staff are very friendly and helpful.

The food in the bar could have been better, and while i was staying there, there was a few young people staying at the same time and where noisy, and we did experience something being thrown at our door in the middle of the night.

The area and Killarney town.

The Hotel is in a good location just minutes walk from the town. At the time of my stay the weather was cold and the heating only came on for approx a hour in the morning and then at 6pm for several hours. I complained several times but the staff stated that they could do nothing about it. I bet if the heating was not on in the area where they worked they would have!!!!

Rooms were very comfortable and staff were very pleasant.

I felt on the cold wintery evening when we arrived there was no fire lighting in the bar which made it cold looking also we has a disabled bathroom with No bath just a shower and when you had a shower the whole bathroom floor was drowned wet.
