We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were all very good and always helpful. the the pool was great aswell.
Food quality was awfull and vastly over priced, we asked for a ham sandwich and they couldn't even get that order right...
The staff were very attentive and personable. Nothing was a problem to them.
Swimming pool was not joined to the hotel
We love the warm spacious room and the nice view the garden.
Menu hasn't changed much over the last few years in Jacks. Also, very disappointed in the fact that breakfast is all buffet style. Preferred breakfast to have the table menu as it used to. Now like any other hotel.
i love the hotel in general and personally always enjoy a good walk/run on the nearby safe country roads. I know this may not be what you hear from others bu5t it's a major attraction for my family to compliment the conforts of the hotel. Also really enjoyed our dinner in the bar/restaurant
Room was lovely. Breakfast fantastic
The bar food menu was limited.
Many things to like, 'Jacks' restraunt was very good efficient service aa d good well presented food. Breakfast has plenty of options in very nice surroundings. Only a short stay but would certainly go back.
Believe it or not the ironing facilities provided were the only low point. But, it has to be taken into account this is an area I need to be better, it's a personal thing and others may not care.
Had asked few weeks earlier for room with view of gardens got room with no views only a hedge and car park.even after making two calls to reception. We checked out after one night.Wont be going back.
location and old style
food was not great in thunders and overpriced for choice
Very large comfortable family room. Nice and quiet good nights sleep. Great restaurant and leisure facilities on site. Good location.
TV in room outdated.
We had a wonderful day at the wedding of Andrew and Oona Norton
The relaxed atmosphere, the very pleasnat staff and the rroom with the view was fab
Having to pay extra for the Hydro pool after my spa treatment
Beautiful hotel .lovely staff
Got no sleep due to revellers attending a ball, having mo respect for other guests late at night.
Nice clean and tidy
Could have a bottle of water in the room for the money they charge
The spa is not for only resident, it is open to everybody. It is not clear in the booking add
Stayed for a weekend, grand big country house, beds were superb, rooms were spotless, spa was great, food was lovely, can say no more.
Loved it all
Nice swimming pool, sauna & steaming room . We enjoyed it.
Didn't have bathtub as what described in the booking. The shower area looked like for disabled people. Charged me normal rate than the promotional rate even I checked in using the booking reference, so had to go back for refund.not impressed
open fire, good leisure centre
The staff where very good and the hotel very good they got us into Falons a restraunts in Killcullen which I would highly recommend
In Ireland there is zero tolerance on drink driving so if u have a meal and some wine it's over so what's the point going of for the weekend if u can't dine in the hotel the breakfast was cold it had to be heated and the bacon was salty not for me am afraid and Sunday we had a booking for restraunt but they only had a bar menus so a complete downer
staff at spa were very good and facilities are excellent
some parts of hotel were shabby
The grounds were lovely
The spa was fully booked couldn't book a treatment and staff in jacks bistro weren't the friendliest small portions of food for the price
Most things excellent
A bottle of water in the room would not have killed them for the money they charge
Room size and staff were very helpful
Steam rooms separate for males and females - excellent idea; amazing food in the restaurant; top class hotel - deserves their amount of stars
I cannot say anything bad about this hotel
I had booked what I thought was a triple room. On arrival we were allocated a twin bed room and the third person had to use a camp bed. we had a mouse in the room and were changed rooms to similar . I was contacted before arrival to be told that the leisure facilities would be closed as they were being refurbished . I felt if the hotel was busy you would be shunted around rooms . I thought I had booked a family room and what we were given was a twin room.
