Very pleasant staff, lovely spacious rooms, lovely food, lots of parking. Regretfully, my overnight stay (saturday 26th/27th) was completely destroyed by not getting any sleep from 1.30 through to 6 am. There was a function in the hotel (no problem), but on returning to their rooms from 1.30 am the guests there were extremely noisy in the hallways, banging doors, in/out, then the inevitable drunken arguments started - I didnt call the desk - I didn't need to as I heard several times during the 5.5 hrs ordeal the Night Porter coming down the hallways and asking them to quieten down - they would go quiet for about 10 to 15 minutes (until Porter safely back upstairs) and then start over. I got very scared though when not only was there shouting in the hallways but also outside the windows (this section of the hotel is like a basement), these people were being brought into the hotel via windows. I think it is fair to say that I actually felt unsafe here. On departing the hotel I did make an offical complaint with the front desk. I will not be returning here and I certainly could not recommend it to anyone particularly if one is travelling alone.

Hello, We went down New Years Eve and had a marvelous time. There was great entertainment, a reasonably priced bar menu and on new years they provided complimentry mulled wine, buffet and mince pies ! was lovely! Room was very clean and comfortable, and breakfast was very nice. Cosy hotel , and 24 hr shop across from the hotel if you need anything last minute ! Carpe diem!

I like the convenient and ample carparking, and the closness to a city bus service We were in room 519. It is an excellent suite however the ceiling lighting is cold and white florescent. In bed the bed side lights are fine, but to use the suite's seating area to read, the lighting was very very poor.

We only stayed one night. We chose it for its proximity to the University of Limerick. It's a lovely hotel, staff are friendly, efficient and courteous. Breakfast was the full Irish and very tasty. My only complaint is that it is very badly signposted from the road - we passed it out and had to phone for directions. I would recommend this hotel and will return again. It needs a proper lit signpost at the entrance. Everything else was really good.

The setting of the Hotel was spacious, It was well set out, with plenty of visual experiences. In early Autumn, the Boston Ivy gave the whole Hotel a very picturesque apperance. Comfortable and Friendly. No complaints.

spotlessly clean. good bar food. good selection for breakfast. car parking very easy and convenient. The only problem with this hotel, and we have stayed at least 4 or 5 times, is that the beds are very very soft. If you need a firm bed this might not be the place to stay. Everything else is perfect.

Arriving on a cold wet day, the welcome we received was excellent, they had people in the foyer and it didn't phase them at all. The rooms were excellent, a really lovely place to stay. The receptionist was happy to give me some directions to something we wanted to see and so do's and dont's which made the drive enjoyable and quicker.

The friendliness of all staff stood out.Any question was answered in a friendly and informative manner. The food was very good and reasonably priced. Perhaps some live lite music in the bar from 9-11p.m or so ? I have in mind something that is not loud and drowns out conversation-a good solo singer who plays guitar or a piano player?

“The customer service from the decated staff. The food was excellent at night and the breakfest was first class. Shirley is well worth her salery, give her a raise !!! The bed didn't feel as though we were the 1000 couple to sleep in it. The over all cleanliness was great. The Polish receptionest was almost 'Irish' in her welcome and warmth. We will stay again , please God.” John, Westport |
