we liked everything about this lovely lodge, just wished we could stay longer. At a concert in University college which was very convenient to Kilmurry Lodge
Breakfast was fine and bar food good
I left an item of equipment behind and it took a number of phone calls to establish that it was still in the hotel. It was returned to me by post, so I was happy with the eventual outcome
I was put in the wheel chair access room, and the shower floor kept flooding if you were in the shower longer than 3 minutes.
WONDERFUL ROOM, VERY SPACIOUS & COMFY (521) VERY QUIET,NICE STAFF
BREAKFAST WAS ONLY FAIR
good bedroom, with comfortable bed.
It was some distance from the centre of Limerick.
Excellent location beside Limerick University. It was a good choice and suited our needs.
Comfortable bed in a quiet area of the hotel. Buffet breakfast included hot and cold food. Clean room and bathroom. Would stay here again.
Door keycard did not work at any time to open the door, so had to ask reception to assist which included waiting until the receptionist was free. Was driving to the hotel at night in the direction from Limerick city centre and did not find the hotel signed, passing the roundabout and needing to travel a fair distance to u-turn back - please provide more hotel signs in advance of the hotel turn off.
Staff were very friendly at reception. Bedroom was clean. Location of hotel is very good
Noisey, doors banging all night, bathroom floor was sticky. Beds weren't comfortable, room decor and tv very dated
Beautiful garden . Cosy pub. Comfortable leisure spots. Nice staff.
Mattress a bit worn out. Made you roll into the middle.
-facilities -breakfast -location
-staff -no wifi in room
We went to Limerick to see the Royal de Luxe giant performance. The hotel looks fine inside and outside. The rooms are spacious and clean.
The room we had the first night had a connecting door to another. We were kept awake all night by the noise from the television next door. Despite ringing the room and reception ringing the room at 3am there was no let up. I know this is not especially the hotels fault however there was no noise insulation on the connecting door. I also have to say that while the breakfast was ok, on both mornings I was served the vilest coffee I have ever drank. I only drink coffee and like it strong but I don't know what this was made from. I was not the only one as another couple had brought their own instant coffee.
Friendly Good size room Location
everything-I did a previous review
The night porter was a nice guy as are all the staff in reception and bar. Thank you.
I cant believe how noisy the cleaning staff were from 8am onwards - speaking out loud and banging doors - checkout is not until later so i am entitled to be able to sleep. They had a full conversation outside my door! Loudly.
We planned to stay here 4 nights and left after two. Rooms were dirty, dated, and dingy. Carpet, TV, beds, all old and worn; no WiFi. Was hoping it would at least be clean, but that was not the case. Paid more for this place than the 2 others we stayed at in Ireland and it wasn't close to the same quality. Don't stay here.
Was at work morning after staying and got phone call regarding unpaid bar bill. Did not visit bar
Staff were very good and helpful
Room a bit dusty.
Convenience to UL, and staff are very helpful.
Rooms are dated. Beds extremely uncomfortable with hard pillows and mattress which dipped in the middle.
Seem very run down and dark.
Services, Quality and cleanliness of the room.
I selected this hotel because is near of the University of Limerick. There are a lot of things nearby. (Lid, McDonald, Petrol Station, Mini Supermarket, pharmacy...)
The wireless zone was not reachable from the room.
Nice surroundings. Nice distance from city centre & bus stop beside hotel. Food was good. Room was nice size
Great location for bus route, university and local shops.
Room was damp and smelled of smoke. No wifi reception in room even though advertised on hotel website. Bad TV reception. Quite noisy.
Very comfortable beds and large spacious room.
