The location was great, just a short walk to Grafton street and a Starbucks right around the corner. The staff were also very friendly. The Television reception was very poor. The bathroom was ok but the shower had what looked like a rush job to fix the hose. It looked untidy and unprofessional.

The friendliness of the staff, it was like home from home. They made us so welcome. The comfort of our stay and the easy access to city centre and to the Luas. The breakfast was to die for. We waddled out of the breakfast room. We absolutely cannot wait to go back and are actively looking for a reason to return sooner rather than later. I don't particularly want everyone to know how good this place is, I want to keep it a secret for myself but that would be doing such a disservice to this wonderful guesthouse. I just want to say a massive thank you from both of us for making our stay so brilliant. See you soon.

The location was very near to the city centre but at the same time in a quiet area. Room provided was not as booked - single bed in a very small room. This is the reason for my answer below.

central to city, service personal is really nice. breakfast was also fine. bed was nice, but the furniture around is more than old. heating doesn't work in the evening (in november!!!) and the windows are also old. carpet looks very old and disgusting! and the clou: in the shower cubicle there is a motor driven pump which is terrible loud, that you are deaf afterwards.

The location was great, only a few steps from one of the main shopping/nightlife streets in Dublin. The atmosphere of the house is very inviting. The staff were helpful. The room was nice and warm as well. The breakfast was also very delicious. The streets of Dublin change names in odd places, which made finding the hotel by map and directions from the website difficult. The room had an ancient shower which had a very loud pump to increase the water pressure. The room as a whole was clean but the carpeting was a light color and quite stained. The cable and internet went in and out often.

Friendly staff, efficient service. Comfortable and cosy. Delicious breakfast. Room very nice. Very close to Eye and Ear Hospital and National Concert Hall. I was offered free tea/coffee in the lounge on arrival. Free internet and use of computer, daily paper available. A small amount of noise from other residents passing but you'd get that anywhere.

It was lovely to have friendly Irish staff - to be welcomed with a smile and a cup of tea was great. All the staff were friendly and chatty and really efficient as well. The location was really good - convenient for the city centre and the Luas (tram system) and still on a quiet road. The room was a good size and the beds were very comfortable. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a weekend city break in Dublin and would definitely stay there again.

Small room up 4 flights of stairs ,very tiring . 12 inch TV set had seen much better days ,and no remote control either. As a guest house there is no evening meal available ,and very little nearby in walking distance except a kebab shop ,so although booked in for 2 nights only stayed the one night .Quite disappointed to be honest .Breakfast was adequate though on the plus side and staff nice enough .

Free Wifi, cozy place, very friendly French girl at check in, location. Would stay there again. Room was cold, and the additional heater produced so much light one could almost read with the lights out. No windows in my room except in the ceiling. Hotel not accept Amex. Should give street number or GPS coordinates on Booking.com, my GPS refused to ackowledge the existance of their part of the street and it took me ages to find it.

The hotel was ideally located for my business appointments. The staff was very friendly, helpful and service-oriented. The breakfast set up and variety offered was great. Despite mild weather, the (top floor) room did feel a bit cold late in the evening, but nothing that a couple of blankets cannot fix. The carpet did not look exactly fresh, neither did some of the furniture, but cleanliness was overall satisfactory. The biggest problem was that the shower in my room had an instant water heater that was louder than an industrial blender. To avoid embarassment early in the morning the options were to either not take a shower, keep it extremely short or the water pressure extremely low (meaning you also get cold water).
