Professionalism and helpfulful ness of staff was exemparilarly
Wifi could be improved
Safe location with a 10-minute stroll to Grafton Street (shopping area) and within walking distance to several of the main points of interest in Dublin.
Homey, good service. Helpful.
A bit of mold in the bathroom. noisy with the windows open, with buses going by.
ensuite room was very comfortable and clean, breakfast was delicious all cooked freshly to order, location within walking distance to centre. Parking added bonus
We liked the location, two minute walk from a Luas stop, quiet area yet so central. Friendly Reception Staff, delicious breakfast, quaint room and the bed was extremely comfortable. Coffee/Tea/Hot Choc and cake on arrival. Very obliging staff. Yes definitely recommend.
WiFi poor. Had to stay in the house next door. It would have been nice if it was linked even by a connecting door to the main part of the hotel. Felt it lacked atmosphere and people in this part of the building.
Room was clean and comfortable. Location was excellent.
The staff were far from friendly, especially on check out. A cleaner knocked on the door and said "you must leave now" at 11.10am. Also breakfast timings are very early finishing at 9.30am. The room also was not ready on arrival.
I will never visit this hotel again.
Small room, and the bathroom roof was full of mold. The room needed improvement, and the whole hotel. The staff in the breakfast room was flippant and forget orders.
We enjoyed breakfast and the convenience of walking to the sights in Dublin.
Appalling bed and linen - mattress, divan, and linen all the wrong size. Extremely uncomfortable. Tiny ensuite shower room, not quite sure which was bigger - the ensuite or the wardrobe.
Excellent service, comfortable bed and good room size, excellent breakfast.
Very friendly staff, beautiful house, much confort, excellent breakfast with several choices for the menu
I enjoyed my one night stay. The location was very nice, being in the city, yet a relatively quiet area. The price was good. The staff were welcoming and friendly. It was a more intimate and relaxed place to stay. I would stay there again.
The house is in a quiet area close to Stephen's green and we could sleep very well. Breakfast is great.
The room was in the house next door and there was smell in the corridors, because nobody has opened the doors to bring some air. We aware that you may need to be fit because there is no lift and some rooms are on the 4th floor. The hotel needs some maintainance, the carpets have some darks spots and the bathroom have minor issues. Cleanliness is just ok, I would say that for 3 stars they need to clean better. Lastly, Dublin accomodations are not value for money at all!
Location, breakfast and service
Very small room without bathroom
The staff were friendly and I was left to do as I wanted.
The decor was a little tired but still comfortable
Truely friendly staff made us feel very welcome. Very comfy beds Heaps of character
Stairs up to room but really no problem for us. A little bit too far out of city Taxi 15 eur
Directed to house next door.Concerned about parking arrangements.
the breakfast set me up for the day, great choice of starters, good too for vegetarians, very well presented. friendly staff, comfy beds.
the outside isn't that clean, it needs a good lick of fresh paint!. the locks on the bedroom doors were difficult to open from the inside and for that reason alone I felt uncomfortable in the room and wouldnt stay there again as I didnt like the feeling of being locked in.
the location and the price
Very central, friendly stuff, clean, very good breakfast
Wallpaper in our room came down of the wall and had some crack
Friendly staff and in a very handy location. Off street parking is a great advantage
Lovely place with real character. Staff were very helpful, offered drink and biscuits when we arrived. Really good place to visit Dublin. Breakfast excellent - so much choice!
Our room was at the top of a very steep climb - about 4 floors, we really struggled with this. I had e-mailed that we needed a more accessible room ,but this was not provided.
Quite place to relax after a busy day in Dublin. Nice Breakfast Friendly staff
The location. Fact that it's homely and cosy.
Upon checking out I was asked whether I had enjoyed the World Cup final the previous night (being German I had done, of course...). 'What time did you get back?' was the next question. Turns out that a fellow guest had complained about someone knocking loudly on his/her door in the middle of the night, which obviously made me a prime suspect for no reason other than being a guest at the B&B that night. So if the receptionist/manager involves you in apparently friendly chatter at the end of your stay, be very careful! You might be suspected of having committed a serious crime while you were asleep in your room. I for one won't be back!!
Nothing the room smelled of damp the house is a kip
