the price of the wine was xstorshing......
Staff were absolutely outstanding
I went for a relaxing weekend away with 2 friends. The staff were very welcoming and helpful on arrival. We had lunch at the bar which accommodated my gluten free diet. The gluten free bread in particular was delicious and the best I have tasted. The room was spacious, clean, warm and comfortable. We booked treatments in the spa and spent the day in the swimming pool, saunas, relaxation rooms etc. the entire experience of the spa and hotel was wonderful.
There is nothing that I disliked about the hotel.
Accommodation Room Size
Some staff a little bit tired and burned out. Not the friendliest! (but given busy Christmas period would take this into account)
Upgrade to suite on 4th floor.Huge hot tub and loads of space in apartment. Nice breakfast and evening meal.
Made the trip for family reasons. Unfortunately hotel was fairly empty probably because Christmas was a few weeks away,so lacking in atmosphere. Still, it was a luxurious weekend for us. On the evening bar menu, the Pavlova turned out to be supermarket meringue, hard and sweet and overpriced. As it was a Monday night I assume the chef was off. Small complaint, but attention to detail can make a hotel.
Room I booked was a suite and well worth the money was very pleased with it! Nice anniversary surprise for my other half
Rang looking for a late check out and couldn't get one bit disappointing to be honest after the amount of money I spent on the room any hotels I've ever stayed has at least gave an extra hour stay!
Stayed in a triple room which was very spacious !
I loved the River Spa. Myself and my mum had a lovely massage, facial and mini manicure and the spa was gorgeous. We ate in the golf club and the lounge and food was gorgeous both times. Large variety for breakfast the next morning too. I will be back again.
Room size Fabulous Spa & excellent staff Fun bar with live music All staff we encountered were excellent
I was attending a wedding and enjoyed the buzz about the place. The food was excellent and the Christmas decor looked great. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Having to leave.
Everything about the hotel was stunning. The rooms are lovely and the bed was the most comfortable bed I ever slept in. The staff were lovely, breakfast buffet had plenty of choice. Highly recommend this hotel.
Love knightsbrook great hotel we will be back
Everything about the hotel was fantastic. Cannot compliment it enough. Staff and facilities are fatah
We had a quick bite to eat in the bar. We were 6 minutes away from last orders for bar food when we ordered. The food was exceptional, the nicest bar food i've had in many years. The waiter, a young man, who served us was extremely polite and very helpful. I would travel to this hotel again just for the bar food alone!
the journey home from it
the staff were very when asked they coudnt even carry out the simple task. will not be back
Had a lovely time a knights brook stayed with my mam and sister for our birthday, staff were lovely had a really nice time
Got breakfast to the room the next morning and it was a bit cold and our eggs were missing but we rang reception and the dropped them up
I have no negative comment
I liked the hotel, the facilities, the food and the local area including Trim Castle. I have stayed in the hotel previously and found everything excellent
I had three young children with me and we arrived in the hotel having had a light lunch at 540 They went for a swim and when we arrived in the terrace bar were very hungry. We ordered meals at 7pm but were not served until 810. By then the kids were very restive and couldnt wait to get some food. Nobody came to explain the delay or to offer anything to keep the children busy. My granddaughter of 7 did notice about 8pm that children at another table had colouring pencils and, on request, got some then. I left a letter for the manager reporting the incident but have heard nothing since. The meal was excellent
As above we did not receive a warm welcome at check in
Great view from window Good breakfast
Lovely food, great gym, nice pool, jacuzzi area. Good was very spacious and the bed was huge. Very comfortable with all the amenities you would expect.
A bit stuffy in the room but I think that may have had more to do with the uncharacteristically warm autumn than the hotel itself.
Kids running around after 9pm. Kids slamming doors are 8am. It was a stay during Halloween break but parents should supervise & hotel should put families on a different floor to single & adult guests
I had a brilliant stay at The knightsbrookbhotel, the staff were lovely as was the food. The spa is one of the best I've been to and the treatments were well worth the money. Would definately recommend this hotel.
The only downside is that there is not a lot of shops in close proximity to the hotel but it's only 7 euros in a cab to the village.
