Signs from the Shrine carpark could have been more prominent

quietness. big bedrooms. good breakfast.excellent location for a pilgrimage group or individual

bland. foyer is also the lounge, so no privacy to chat. dining room too small and not enough waiting staff, so delays inevitable.

Close to Grotto as this was purpose of stay.

Bed quilt smelled of body odour, however blanket and sheet were clean and fresh.

Very clean and tidy; great central heating on a cold evening. Friendly reception. An extra item on my bill was put on to a colleague's bill who was paying for the item, without any fuss or bother.

The lounge staff of 1 was totally over worked for 12 (?) tables and groups of chairs. It took 25 minutes for my cup of coffee and sandwich to ordered and 10 minutes for it to arrive. Similarly at a dinner, too few staff for a group of 60.

No sound insulation between rooms. You can hear everything in next room - including snoring - which kept me awake all night. No bar. No response from reception when calling from room. Staff are brusque. Wouldn't stay here again.

There was nothing to dislike about Knock House Hotel.

I know the Hotel from previous visits . It is a nice Hotel and idealysituated to the Shrine. The price for a single room is 45 Euros and this is also good value.There was a hospitable German guy on reception.

This year ,I did not like the arrogant attitude of some of teh staff. They offe ryou a service and then ask you rather condescendingly ..is that alright? The same occurs at reception with other guests when they are given their keys annd directed by finger pointing to their room.The KEY SYSTEM for entering the room is really bad. The previous time I stayed , I was up and down to reception like a yo yo . Then to return to he Hotel 3 yrs later and find its still a problem was a real disappointment. My room had to be changed on this occasion because the key systemwas not working and then even after that change of room it was still not working. For convenience , I choose to eat at the hotel retsaurant that evening and the plate almost burned my hand . he veg seemed as if it was nuked in a microwave ,given how the staff and key system had irked me , I made a complaint about the poor quality of the food.

The warm welcome. The attentive staff and management. The delicious food. The clean, modern, spacious rooms. The entertainment. The location. All of this for a very reasonable price, which, in these austere days ,shows very good business sense. I really can't praise this hotel enough. My mother and I were made to feel as if we were at home, the place is so welcoming. I will return, and I hope my review will make others choose this excellent hotel above others.

everything by way of service is excellent and the staff are all very personable and friendly

If in the winter after 9.00 pm it was possible to have one hot dish and/soup available that would be great as although services finish at 9.00 pm one can be unwittingly delayed

The water in some of our rooms was cold one morning, hot the next, cold the next. We didn't like the bedding, would have preferred duvets to blankets.

Calm atmosphere; friendly, courteous staff; location.

Stayed in two rooms and in both the water in the wash basins was very slow to drain so I had to remove the plug. In one of the rooms the plug was badly in need of cleaning.

The location next to the Marian Shrine to Our Lady of Knock was perfect. The hotel is a quiet, respectable one in keeping with the sacredness of the area.
