The Lake Hotel

Excellent location and views. Service equally well.

Perhaps more choices to the evening meals and facilities--separate restaurant?

Tea in the breakfast, it was horriable.

The view from our room window was all that I had anticipated. Absolutely the best in Ireland! The setting is spectacular, the public rooms are very nicely maintained and the staff for the mosst part were cordial.

We mentioned to the maitre'd before we were seated that it was our 52nd wedding anniversary. In clumsy attempt at humor (I guess) he said, "Is that all?" We asked for a really nice table and were shown to the same one we had at breakfast. Not a bad table but not one of the elevated ones that gave a view of the outside plus the other tables.

The views and location of the hotel are excellent

The location of the Hotel is superb and the rooms with balconies enjoy the ever-changing views of the lake and mountains. The Staff were generally very helpful and attentive.

The Buffet Breakfast was adequate, but did not have the class expected.

View from hotel room was the best. Easy to get into mountains, Staff was excellent and also the offer to stay an additional night at a discount rate.

We loved the atmosphere, the comfort, food, service and of course the setting- just beautiful peaceful view of lake and mountains.Thank you for lovely stay.

it is close to all the atractions that killarney has to offer the facilities are excellent and the staff to match

the room i stayed in was in the new part of the hotel and was hard to find

The hotel had a quiet relaxing atmosphere it was both elegant and very close to all amenties

the only thing missing was internet access from your room

view, tranquility, the haggard family, and all the staff, where very friendly and very helpful. a stay that was actually too short!

a little noisy because we where above the hotel pub that had live music. luckily the music was good and didnt go on till too late, and it wasn't annoying, but we would've liked to be informed.

The Lake Hotel was a wonderful experience. The view was breath taking including the rainbow that dropped itself right in the middle of the lake. The staff were friendly and helpful although there weren't too many of them and sometimes it took them a while to assist us. The jaccuzzi tub was an added bonus and we enjoyed using it. Location was perfect. We did the Ring of Kerry & Muckross House.

The hotel did not offer much in the way of restuarants. Although, breakfast was nice....we had dinner at Molly Darcy's because the suggested menu was a little too pricey for us and the bar menu didn't have much we desired.
