Lakelands Farm Guesthouse  

The hospitality at the Lakelands Farm Guesthouse was incomparable to anything I have experienced before. I took part in a Triathlon with my friends which was our reason for staying in the Lakelands guesthouse. After the event despite having earlier paid and checked out we were invited to shower, given fresh towels and provided with hot tea. This goes way beyond the norm. I will be back please God year after year and will be encouraging family and friends to stay here when they visit me in Kerry. In addition the house is warm with plenty of hot water, there are two large guest lounges to watch TV or read; and fabulous views onto the lake which is immediately behind the house. If you just want pure relaxation and a genuine Kerry experience, this is the place to stay!!

You feel like at home there . Ann, the owner make you feel as you know her dozen of years. Perfect location with lake view, probably the best hotel location I have ever seen.

Hotel was very clean, room was very comfortable, in particular the beds. Breakfast was excellent, more choices than the usual traditional breakfast. Views from all rooms were superb, both lake and mountains. You can hire boats to go out on the lake at the foot of the garden, but we did not have time to do so. Staff were lovely and we were offered proper tea and biscuits on arrival. I would recommend it and hope to go back again.

We had a large room with a kingsize bed, sofa and chairs and patio access to a roof balcony looking out over the lake - very nice view. Bed very comfy, breakfast very tasty... No complaints and will definitely return next time we're back.

Me parece algo caro, teniendo en cuenta que no está en el centro de una ciudad grande, precisamente. Pero hay que decir que Irlanda en general es un país muy caro

Everything: the situation, the host, breakfast, ... everything was perfekt. The perfekt hollydays for a family with children and for everybody. The lake and the views are wonderfull and the acomodation too. We will come back.

Das Haus wird von einer so netten Frau geführt, toll! Außerdem gab es das beste Frühstück unserer Reise.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lakelands Guesthouse. The setting is stunning, right on the lake but only a few minutes from the beach also! The house itself is homely and cosy! We particularly loved the lounges/sittingrooms overlooking the lake, the balcony off our room (despite it being extremely foggy on the evening of our stay) and the relaxed atmosphere. We found the owners to be extremely friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful! Seemed to be very down to earth, genuine, hardworking people! I generally tend to opt to stay in hotels when I'm away but I'm really glad I didn't on this occasion! I look forward to staying in Lakelands house again in the future! !

The continental breakfast was a little limited! Would have liked a better selection of breads and pastries in particular. However my partner was very happy with his cooked breakfast!!
