Lancaster Lodge is a serviced "hotel" overlooking the River Lee and close to many of the attractions in Cork. It is small to medium sized. The rooms are good, clean and attractive. The breakfasts were excellent - piping hot tea, a good choice, including vegetarian and well presented. Cork is a great city for a short break, plenty to see and do and very walkable. Lots of good eating places and even more drinking places! The back route into the city towards the cathedral is a pleasant route as the main road is fairly busy most of the time.

Very Little It is not clear on the website that their are no eating facilities / bar service except for breakfast. No tea/coffee making facilities in room I rang reception for iron and ironing board 9as iondicated in hotel info in room) and was told I had to go down to reception myself to collect them!!!!! Very overpriced in the current climate...Whilst breakfast was lovely I was shocked when told that my room rate of 105 euro per night only included continental breakfast, and I had to pay a further 4 euro for cooked breakfast. As with many other hotels breakfast does not officially start until 07.30 which is too late for business travellers. It needs to be 07.00

Perfectly decent spot with a good location in Cork. Free WiFi, good breakfast, free parking and be helpful and pleasant staff. The room was spacious enough, comfortable and had everything you expect from a good 3 star hotel. About a 10 minute walk to the action in the city centre.

Internet was free and fast and the bathroom was large, clean and modern. Nice and quiet given the proximity to the city centre. Walking distance to Cork nightlife. Minor points- no instructions to open windows (warm nights!!). No instructions on phone either.

Near the city. Not close to pubs or clubs. Parking for guests with cctv Good breakfast. Speedy service. Our room was near a lift. Noisy guests did not consider others. The heating was too high and we could not locate a controller.
