This newly renovated accommodation is located in the heart of Cork city centre. Offering easy access to main roads and local attractions, the location is ideal for business and leisure.

Situated on the banks of the River Lee, the picturesque location is perfect for relaxing in the lounge after a long day, or you could unwind in your spacious and modern room, with flat-screen LCD TV. There is a large selection of bars and a wine bar within 2 minutes' walk.

Reception is open 24 hours and the hotel will do their best to accommodate early check-ins (on request, subject to availability). There is a lift to all floors. Lancaster Lodge has free city centre parking.

The lodge offers newly refurbished 4-star boutique accommodation with 48 rooms located on the banks of the River Lee in the heart of Cork City Centre. 5 minutes walk from the University College and St. Patrick Street, as well as shops, restaurants, galleries and museums.

The lodge offers complimentary morning newspapers.

Fully wheelchair accessible with several specially adapted rooms for disabled guests.

Food & beverage

The Georgina Campbell's Guide 2005 award winning breakfast is served from 07:30 to 10:00 daily.

Area information

Cork was the European Capital of Culture for 2005, and as such it displays some beautiful and unique sights, including:

The church tower of Shandon - Dominating the North side of the city. It is known by locals as The Four-Faced Liar, as from the base of the building, each clock face appears to show a different time. Shandon is accessible to the public, and the bells may be rung by visitors.

St. Patrick Street - The main shopping street. Remodelled in the years up to 2004, it boasts striking buildings along its broad avenue.

County Hall Tower - The tallest building in the Republic of Ireland.

The large rooms, the cleanliness, pleasant staff and excellent breakfast.

As there is no bar or restaurant reception should have a list of recommended bars or restaurants in the area.

the hotel was spotless ,very central, and most of the staff were very professional, helpfull and curtious.

the night porter was very rude, as this was our second visit to this particular hotel it was a let down. in saying that i would still recomend this hotel on the basis that all the other staff had a fantastic work ethic.

there was a continous noise from a nearby room between 11pm and 12 which I think was the bathroom extractor in that room.
