Junior suite was amazing. Felt like a celebrity in the room. Room was very grand and stunning One cushion on the bed was very dirty. Some areas in the room need painting. A lot of noise from the neighbouring room

The location for fine food shopping and all round general ambience is the best Dublin has to offer. The rooms are very 'comfortable'. You cannot take a shower without flooding the bathroom. Be careful not to burn your self on the swinging hand rail and having to trek through a bar to get to your room however nice it is is not my idea of a luxury Hotel.

The staff were friendly and helpful; the hotel was conveniently located. The hotel was disappointing for a 4-star. It's situated above a noisy bar, which you have to walk through to access the lift. My room was quiet, but small, and the heating system was noisy. Wardrobe was inadequate and the desk was too small, with no desk lamp. Breakfast was adequate but uninspiring, and not relaxing, as there was loud music playing. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for business travel and will not be staying there again.

The location of the hotel! The decor and style of the hotel was lovely! The a la carte breakfast was amazing! The bedroom and bathroom was lovely too. the only lift to the rooms was at the back of the bar which was difficult to get through on a busy Saturday night.

It was like a maze trying to find my room could find any lift so I had to take stairs which wasn't confident when leaving with my case. Every time you flushed the toilet it made an gastley noise it was awful. Not worth 150.00 for the night stead in nice and cheaper hotels.

The location was absolutely perfect - we could walk to most major attractions easily and didn't need to take public transport once. I know lots of people don't like entering through the bar, but we thought the bar downstairs was great (good, cheap cocktails and delicious food) so we didn't mind being so close to it. We loved the look of the room and the bathroom was fine. Staff were friendly and helpful. It does need a little decorative refresh, particularly in the hallways which are looking very tired. Also a couple of areas in the bathroom that could have done with a being redone. In our room (302) the extractor fan in the bathroom was very noisy whenever the light was turned on, so we tended to avoid switching it on when we could. It was a little overpriced for what we got, but it was still a lovely stay, and it was worth it for the great, central location.

The decoration of our room (404) was nice. We had a roll top bath which was lovely for baths. A romantic place to stay. Beds were turned down each night. The Mandala Spa was an oasis of calm in a busy city. A few negatives about our junior suite; 1. The lights in bathroom were too dim to do make-up 2. You have to sit down in the bath to take a shower (there was no curtain) or separate shower 3. The bulbs in the bedside lamps were not bright enough to read 4. The mini fridge was in a cabinet without any doors and was noisy 5. Checking in & out at reception could have been more pleasant if staff were friendly/welcoming.

I have stayed at La Stampa on many occasions, I found that the rooms (we booked 2 rooms) were a little tired and tatty. The carpet on the stairs was also tatty, the curtain pole in my room was about to fall down. I was disappointed in the rooms in comparsion to my last visits, this would definitely put me off staying in the hotel again even though the location is excellent.

Really convenient location right on Dawson St. opposite the Mansion House. Very friendly welcoming staff . Room was very disappointing. Whilst I aknowledge it was a single room, it was right at the back of the hotel with a view of a brick wall ! Also, the layout of the hotel seems to be a warren of corridoors and steps. Not the easiest to navigate if you've had a few drinks......

Great location: The junior suit was a nice size and the bathroom very bright with a glass ceiling! Just felt it was a little expensive for what it was with no breakfast included at £340 for two nights. Also had to walk up 5 flights of stairs at night time as no easy access to lifts, not easy after a night out in Dublin!!

We had an excellent stay in La Stampa mainly thanks to friendly staff, great location (just a few minutes walk to ... everywhere) and clean room. We'll definitely stay here again if we ever visit Dublin again. There is a noise from club/bar - We were staying on 2nd floor. Nothing too dramatic though ....
