Breakfast was excellent
Music at night from basement really loud so we moved up a floor.
Room very large spacious with good bathroom and nice bathroom products.
Decor tired and in need of some attention to really vamp up the potential of this hotel.
Not informed of Amenities, no details in room
The location of the Hotel is fantastic. Literally a few minutes walk to Grafton Steet.
Our room was to the rear of the Hotel and the music kept us awake to the early hours.
The staff, the rooms and the bars
The hotel didn't serve any sit down dinners just finger food at the adjoining bar but the food was nice. The noise was awful we could handle the music coming from the bar and knew this before booking but the noise of the bar staff throwing out bottles was too much and went on til dawn.
Staff very helpful. Breakfast was excellent
Hotel needs a little face lift stairs and hallway look a bit jaded
The staff were helpful, the bed was clean and comfy.
Felt the room was overpriced as it was Valentines Day, also breakfast would have been extra so we didn't bother. We were offered a newspaper for Sunday morning, it wasn't delivered and when I went to get it , they were all from the day before. There was a plaster stuck to the bath which wasn't recent. The tea making facilities were arkward and not very clean. I feel that a bottle of water in the room would be a good idea. There are a lot of corridors and steps which in the event of a fire I wouldn't have known which way to go. It was also very noisy until 4.30am even in the 'quietest' part of the hotel but we were told on arrival that it would probably would be noisy. Not sure I would stay there again.
Very clean room which was quite big, staff were helpful and overall very happy with my stay there.
The hotel was very nice, having said that, I've stayed at nicer ones for a lot less money. The location is very central.
There is no parking on site, and parking in the closest car park cost €36 for little over a day. The noise of the bar is also quiet loud from the rooms.
Staff were so nice and friendly always smiling and very helpful
That the restaurant was closed at 7PM when we arrived at hotel so had to look for some were to eat
I liked the Bed and the location.
Dissatisfied with the Facilities in the Bathroom. One shelf at the wall was broken and not completely removed. There where still the half broken mountings in the wall. And very dangerous, the shower head was broken and had a very sharp edge where i slightly hurt myself. Definitely something you should address.
Beautiful room, excellent location and friendly staff. City centre and lots of bars and restaurants on doorstep. Could only stay one night as fully booked so stayed second night in the Shelbourne which was nowhere near as nice and double the price! Highly recommended
Could not fault this hotel
Extremely friendly staff Lovely room Great Location
No mini bar
Room very old. lift is not easy accessible
Location is great but hotel decor once beautiful but very tired
Location location location
Stairs not acceptable in this day and age a killer for oaps
A refreshing change to be met by a lovely helpful team of staff. Great hotel would stay again
Location good but plenty of other places to stay so don't make our mistake and be fooled by website
Hotel nothing at all like website. Dark dingy room with damaged furniture. No lift, had to climb 4 flights of stairs. Restaurant closed. Bar open till very late, so little sleep with thumping noise. This is not advertised of course on the website even though the receptionist tried to say otherwise..very disappointed and will not stay here again
Beautifully furnished rooms,friendly staff,great breakfast,great location.
loved it all hope to be back soon.
The decor was nice and the room spacious
The heating was broken and a window wouldn't close properly. The bed had a dip in the middle and one of us slept on floor!!!
the location was very central to shop restaurants and bars
Hotel was not up to our standards advertised with bathroom with shower, mixer taps over bath not even a shower curtain, very poor standards, not tap kept falling off, curtain hanging off, needed some attention
Staff were extremely nice on reception and gave a very warm welcome. The suite was very well presented and had everything we needed. For the type of room and location I felt it offered very good value for money.
There was no hotel information book in the room outlining any facilities /room service. No Ice machine on any of the floors. The room was beautiful however it could do with being better maintained, the air conditioning/heating unit was non functional (probably due to no batteries in the remote and could not be operated manually) there was a wall mounted light fixture which seemed to be out of order but what stood out the most was the paint in the room, the room badly needs to be reprinted to make it feel more fresh and remove wear and tear.
place, people and room comfort (except the bathroom not functioning)
The water system is broken or very poorly operating: shower either very cold or ultra-warm and water stopping suddenly. A repair is urgently needed on this and the pb is global as the two other rooms of my colleagues encountered the same issue
Location - great. Room - perfect. Staff - lovely.
The breakfast let them down a little regarding choice.
