Steak on the Stone! Best ever Staff brilliant Generous sized rooms
Standard poor hotel wall hair drier No tea/coffee facilities in room
My friend and I stayed one night in Lawlors hotel, the place, the staff, the ambiance and every second of our stay was more than excellent, I would recommend this hotel to anyone that appreciates comfort , good food , and atmosphere. I can't wait to bring my husband, I can honestly say that this hotel was as good or better than any 5 stars that I have stayed in.mary.
The staff were lovely and food was amazing, my husband had the steak on stone and he said it was the nicest steak he has ever eaten :-) and he has eaten a few!!!!
The food in the bistro restaurant, the comfort of the rooms, and the friendly staff.
Large room .Comfortable beds.Staff excellent.Very friendly.
Breakfast bacon and egg cooked long before we ate it.
Staff very nice and room big.
The room was so dark/dull once it got dark outside. The lighting was very poor. Very dull, yellow lights, hard to do any work in the room. Also would have liked tea/coffee facilities in the room as I was awake for a while in the middle of the night and didn't want to phone down for tea at 3am.
The location is convenient for motorway and access to Dublin. Our room on the third floor was very large, with two double beds, and gave us a very good night's rest.
Arriving around 9.00 on a Saturday evening the hotel car park was full and we had difficulty finding a spot on the street. We did eventually manage. Perhaps parking spaces could be reserved in advance. Although my wife had contacted the hotel in advance about her dietary requirements and was assured there wouldn't be a problem, we arrived at breakfast to find that the staff knew nothing about it and hadn't provided for her.
SPACE IN ROOMS/VALUE FOR MONEY
TINY CAR PARK!!
Central location On site parking
Very tasteless, loveless breakfast. No iron or board in room Lighting very dim, impossible to work No tea and coffee facilities.
Pretty much everything
Nothing to say!
I was upgraded got a great room!.
it was just a great place to stay staff great and rooms super going back again for new years eve
Staff were lovely and efficient, food was excellent, location and cleanliness were excellent
The fire alarm went off twice during the night but the staff did apologise for this.
Nothing to dislike. Good value.
The location for the purpose of our trip. The staff very excellent in every way food was good the little personal touches such as complimentary tea to your room and menu to order your breakfast make it memorable. Hotel cleanliness throughout was excellent the décor was good and the whole ambience was excellent .Would certainly recommend to anyone will certainly return again for longer.
Lack of main lighting in bedroom considering some people are partially sighted and carparking
Everything. We were upgraded to a suite which was Hugh and very comfortable. Dinner in the restaurant was great. All of the staff was wonderful. Loved our stay.
Fantastic hotel perfect location
Parking was confusing
The dark rooms and poor lighting
The comfort and service was really good.
It isn't 10 minutes walk from the racecourse. It's 5k. World record time for running 5k is more than 10 minutes... Complimentary tea/coffee brought to the room is great but having the facilities in the room is even better. It would be really handy to have the person checking you out in the morning to have a basic understanding of the rooms, maths and English. The guy didn't know that our room was a suite, couldn't divide €240 by 3 and couldn't understand us properly.
Service at breakfast very slow, then it was overcooked. There was only one other table in restaurant, so not rushed.
The decor ,the service, the friendly staff .
Loud music in lounge .we ordered breakfast in the room and the coffee was brought up in two cups instead of a coffee pot .
Five minutes to Lawlors fromJct 9 on N7 25 miles south east of Dublin, very convenient.
Reception staff helpful.
Whilst room was a good size it was dark and dismal. Not enough signage for emergency exits. Problem with lighting on bedroom corridors - very dark.
This place was clean and tidy. Good location. Good meal in the bar.
