not a lot
room dated very noisey could here people snoring put rite beside the lift the noise of that opening and closing was really noisey when we went down for breakfast on both mornings there was no clean tables only two members of staff they were run off there feet its rated 3star id give it 1 and a half max i stay in a lot of hotels and this was up der with one of the worse
food location excellent
décor of hotel far to dated and gloomy
You could chill out ,very central with good bus service ,lovely scenery and a very hospitable town .
Entertainment could be improved upon with a group singing ballads and getting patrons to join in.
Location, Friendly staff.
Shower door hanging off ,poor lighting for reading
The staff couldn't be any more helpful or friendly and efficient. The hotel is ideally located in center of town.
Room was too hot but that's not the hotel's problem.
Pleasant reception area, and good town-centre location.
The food was filling, but lacked refinement and variety (same menu every night). "Continental" Breakfast provision was very limited and plastic. The tap in my bathroom dripped. Any attempt to rectify this resulted in running the risk of dismantling the whole tap structure. The hair dryer did not work. I reported this. Nothing was done to rectify it. The window in the room was filthy.
Location, quality of the pint
We really liked the staff in the bar/restaurant who were all very friendly and attention to detail excellent. The staff and breakfast was also very good. The location was excellent and we would stay there again if we were passing through Dungarvan.
To say didn't like is a bit strong but we were able to hear 'someone' snore throughout the night and it was not in our room! Also I felt the hotel could do with a make over to bring it up to date, the decor looked a little tired.
The friendliness of the staff
Noise from side street. rooms need huge upgrading
Location was excellent staff were great wud defenietly go back again
Bedroom was shabby, creaking, uneven and loose floor boards. Stained bed linen, bathroom light not working. Noise from people passing room as the hallway is far too small, creaking floorboards throughout hallway.
Staff extremely pleasant and accommodating
Decor very old fashioned and in need of an update
Staff very helpful
Poor on cleanliness need to improve
WiFi was iffy!
Great location. Staff who were friendly and efficient good sized comfortable room Good value in high season
Very friendly staff Excellent food. Food of excellent quality Good service . I would definitely stay here again.
Bedrooms a bit dated
tables too near when having a meal
Staff were excellent and couldn't do enough for you.
Triple room was very small, beds were tiny squashed together. There were fruit flies in the bar - lots! We felt like we were in the attic. Room badly needs repainting. 95€ for 2 nights in such standard is a ripoff
Nothing to like sadly.
Your first impression as you enter the hotel isn't the greatest, it's quiet dark in the reception & lobby area. It appeared clean & comfortable. It's onwards & downwards from here!!!!! The dark & old stairwells & corridors leave you anxious as to what lies behind the bedroom door. It's not a pretty sight, our room was priced at €100 to include breakfast. Over priced to say the least for a 3 star hotel. The room was again unloved & cramped, not enough sockets, the lamp needed to be plugged out to watch TV & two lamps were not working. Only one bedside locker crammed in by the wall. An old suitcase & dirty blanket were stored in the wardrobe. The shower head fell off the wall during the shower, when I opened the windows the curtains fell down!!!! Faulty towers springs to mind but that might mean I found this funny!!! Far from it, we were so dissapointed in this hotel ,we tried to find alternative accomdation but nothing was available. We didn't go down to the breakfast in the morn afraid of what would face us. Upon checkout we paid our Bill, the receptionist left alot to be desired, she didn't once enquire if everything was satisfactory
Decor and maintenance of room
Lovely hotel very friendly staff very helpful. The location is brilliant.
The hotel is rather dated and I awoke many time to those noise of the creaking and the floorboards. The hotel has that lovely cosy feel to it but I think the rooms need a revamp not to modern but just an updated touch. I would most definitely recommend staying here.
HOTEL LOOKING A BIT TIRED
Two single beds pushed together to make a double not good enough when your been charged €90
