the fact that I was made to feel very welcome which felt good as a solo traveller
Tradituonal art deco - crisp white sheets and great breakfast for the road. Coffee excellent
Initial the bedroom. I was happy once I was moved to another bedroom
Friendly staff and people of the town
There were no wash cloths.
Lady was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. She asked us about what time we would like to have breakfast and even gave us a heart package of chocolate on Valentine's day. She also has parking which is perfect.
Nothing, exceeded all our expectations.
Angela runs the b&b and is so lovely. She helped my husband organise surprise flowers on valentines day, and dealt with our enquiries regarding various dietry requirements with ease. Excellent all round.
When booking, I said that I was always cold so I was given an extra heater in the bedroom. There's not much I can eat in the morning but I asked for porridge and it was delicious. Mrs. Leahy was very kind and I would be happy to stay there again.
The Breakfast was great, beds comfy and the lady who runs it was very nice. It felt like being at home. Will be going back
- The kind, warm and welcoming hospitality from Angela, we could not have asked for better. - The comfort and cleanliness of the accommodation and our room. - The really delicious full Irish breakfasts, we are missing them! - WIFI in our room. - Having a bath tub as well as the choice of the shower. - This is our 2nd stay with Angela at Leahy's and we are looking forward to returning. Thank you very much Angela for looking after us so well. Sharon & Jeremy
Would have liked a kettle in the room but it's no big deal.
only stayed one night but found the BnB to be very pleasant, plenty of parking, room was big enough with lovely ensuite.
-No tea or coffee facilities in the room - Wifi signal very poor (But not necessary)
-Breakfast is good and plenty of choices -Sea is very close -The lady is very nice -The room was very clean -There is a bath !! -Close to The Quays restaurant/pub -Close to the restaurant of Old Imperial Hotel (Food is amazing there for good value) -Close to Youghal Heritage Trail
The price didn't match at all the service received. The breakfast was good and the landlady helpful but the shower was or too hot or too cold to be done, we were 2 persons and we had to ask for the second towel, the room overlooked a car park, the blanket was not warm enough. I would have easily accepted these little defects for a price lower than 68 Euro.
Missed the fact there was no tea making facilities in room.
Cleanliness, comfortable room, friendly landlady. good parking facilities, near town centre.
The accommodation was very clean and comfortable, and Angela was extremely helpful and friendly. There were things to do around the area and nice restaurants to eat in. We would recommend anyone in that area to visit and stay.
Angela was very hospitable and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Very tasty and plenty of it. Angela went out of her way to cater to individual catering needs. Would stay at this house again. Thank you.
our room was quite small and dated but this was reflected in the price so not really a not like - not a negative comment.
the owner was very friendly and welcoming ; B and B was a good position in the town ; tasty breakfast.
We liked every thing about leary' s
We had trouble sleeping with street noise, people and trafic.
We liked everything about our stay except as stated.
Poor sound proofing between walls and misinformation on Booking.com about payment method. (This was true for three of the B&Bs we stayed at in Ireland).
The hosts were very pleasant and helpful with suggestions for activities. The accommodations were extremely clean, the food was excellent, and the location could not have been better for walking access to Market Street, docks, and the beach. Parking was tight, but off street and free, which was nice. The only thing is poor sound proofing between the rooms and, although the website said they take credit cards...they don't. But, B&Bs, by nature of typically being renovated old homes, tend to have poor sound proofing; and paying cash isn't an issue, just fore-knowledge would have been nice. We'd stay again.
Nice place and Angela very friendly and helpfull
Latest breakfast was 10am which for a young couple can be a bit too early.
Very central location in the town centre
have no dislikes
i liked everything
The shower/toilet room was slightly cramped.
the hospitality was excellent and the location central.
Located right by the main road. If you are a light sleeper the traffic noise may be a problem. The parking is adequate but tight.
The location is on the main street which is nice for walking around town; however, it also has its bad point as noted.
