The location was amazing and it was a good location for touring The menu in the restaurant was very basic, there was two main courses unavavailable and the meal was bland with very poor presentation. |

I loved the room - I was there as a single, so the small double was perfect. It would have been a bit of a squash for two. The view was a delight. Great bathroom and shower. The bar was good and the big sitting room was great. I was there with a group of friends and we had plenty of space to sit and chat, which we did until late with no bother from staff. Good wine. The housekeeper was not as friendly as she might have been and some in the group had a feeling that because the hotel caters for one-off tourists they were less attentive than they could have been. |

The hotel is in a beautiful location. It's very charming and comfortable. The restaurant is very good, both for dinners and breakfasts. I would stay there again. |

good value, nice atmosphere, good barstaff. The lounge is very pleasant, and the room was very comfortable for the price, with a great view. The breakfast was fine. The reception (management?) could have been a bit warmer/more visible. It's a pity there's no lift, as one of our party was on crutches and found it difficult to cope. The bar food was not great.(However, the bar staff were very nice.) My room was very cold at first, but once the heat came on in the evening it was fine. |

The setting and views-the food was well cooked and arrived hot and on hot plates - which makes all the difference - Staff were friendly and helpful - as " good as you get " I`d say |

Friendly atmosphere amongst guests and staff, great location and the old world feel of the place; nothing gaudy or tacky unlike a lot of modern hotels. Traffic noise due to poor sound insulation of the sash windows otherwise service in the dining area was excellent. |

See below. Although having double booked my room the hotel did offer immediate compensation in the form of an free evening meal and complimentary drinks. 1. The hotel was overbooked for the fisrt night of my stay and I had to be moved to an inferior B&B. This was despite the fact the my booking was confirmed and paid for through yourselves. I was given a room the second night with a defective main room light and a kettle that was broken. I reported the defective kettle but it was not fixed during my stay. |

I liked the atmosphere espc the drawing/reading room. The bar area was a bit cramped for a large no of people. |

the Location very much overpriced when compared to the other 3 hotels used on 10 day holiday, some of staff (Local not European) were not very friendly, room furnishings were old and grubby, bed not very comfortable, TV did not work properly, bathroom was old and grubby, clenliness was marginal, food quality was variable (some dishes excellent) especially vegetables , not a good experience overall |

friendliness of staff , views were magnificent location perfect room far too cramped, taking part of room for en suite bathroom really imposed on the bedroom which was a great shame as the view from the window was spectacular |

The location. Staff were not friendly, room was in need of decorating, furniture was old and worn out. noisey road works outside. Stayed in far better hotels in Ireland for less money. |
