“Good bar with drinks well priced; likewise the restaurant. An excellent and friendly bar and restaurant staff. Quiet at night if you wish to go to bed early but the craic is excellent in the bar. Hopefully I will visit it again.”

Leens Hotel is located in the Square, Abbeyfeale in the heart of West Limerick. It has been recently refurbished to the highest standard and is under the personal supervision of Maurice and Olive Sheehan.

There is a carvery lunch served daily and a wide selection of bar food available throughout the day.

There is a very warm atmosphere in the Oak Bar and a very intimate restaurant offering the best in local produce.

Abbeyfeale, on the banks of the Feale River, is a small town and Limerick's gateway to Tralee, Killarney and the Dingle Peninsula.

Abbeyfeale is a town noted for Irish music, dance and song. The town has a variety of traditional pubs, some great restaurants and even a nightclub. Abbeyfeale has a 9-hole golf course, an equestrian center, great shopping opportunities.

Visitor attractions include Crag Cave. Discovered in 1983 and thought to be over one million years old Crag Cave is a magical wonderland of stalagmites and stalactites.

For hikers, the Great Southern Trail is a unique 53 mile stretch of countryside in West Limerick / North Kerry passing via Abbeyfeale.

Abbeyfeale Golf Club is a beautiful 9 hole parkland golf course set in the scenic West Limerick countryside. The course, which opened in 1992, was designed by the renowned golf course architect Dr. Arthur Spring and is suitable for golfers of all levels.

Abbeyfeale is a bit limited in places to eat and shopping also limited(couldn't even buy a postcard!).Rooms are rather small and storage insufficient.
