It has been recently refurbished to the highest standard and is under the personal supervision of Maurice and Olive Sheehan. There is a carvery lunch served daily and a wide selection of bar food available throughout the day. There is a very warm atmosphere in the Oak Bar and a very intimate restaurant offering the best in local produce. Reception was friendly and efficent , staff were efficient and good humoured at all times and helpfull. Bedroom wasi clean and comfortable and had all facilities. I enjoyed staying there and will be back. The food was excellent , I am coeliac and the hotel had gluton free food for me, plus any sort of food I wanted for lunch or dinner. Yes I give ten out of ten for this hotel. Thank you

My father stayed at this hotel some fifty years ago. I loved that connection. It was simply warm and comfortable, the staff was pleasant, and I feel fortunate to have stayed there. I would go again.

Charming and helpful staff. Great breakfasts. Nice clean rooms. Abbeyfeale is a bit limited in places to eat and shopping also limited(couldn't even buy a postcard!).Rooms are rather small and storage insufficient. Problem with plugging in hairdryer, kettle etc, but housekeeper provided extension lead, so problem solved.

Very friendly staff, good food. The room was okay but there was a drain smell in bathroom if the door was left closed, and the ventalation fan didn't seem to work.
