Coffee for breakfast!
Central location of hotel was excellent. Bedrooms were very nicely decorated and comfortable with a modern bathroom. Good value for money.
Our bedroom was at the back, and we were woken early by the activities of the kitchen staff in the morning. The cleanliness of the breakfast seating area; carpets and floors in particular was poor. Cooked breakfast mixed grill tasted like it was re-heated, not cooked fresh.
very friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, food excellent especially breakfast.
poor choice of beer
Staff wrer very friendly and helpful
Hotel + Breakfast
The breakfast selection was excellent. The place is a great value. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was excellent for someone not driving. Abbeyfeale is great little town to spend some time.
Atmosphere Staff Food Location Cosy Bar with great photos all around the hotel.
Room Size is small Ensuite size is very small
It's a small guest hotel to suit a purpose of being in the town as against going there for a break away and it suits that purpose perfectly. Small room for single person but fine for a night. Spotlessly clean, very comfy bed. Lovely bar/restaurant.
While we had dinner in the bar which was lovely, the breakfast was fine but not brilliant.
Bedroom small, no lift.
Staff attitude. All members of staff, from bar, dining and room, were all completely at our service, polite and cheerful.
It would definitely add to the facilities to have a small lounge, where you could relax before or after a meal, or plan the journey for the day.
The hotel was immaculate throughout the staff were friendly
My scrambled eggs were microwaved which were like eating rubber
The hospitality - nothing was too much trouble, insisting lugging the heavy luggage upstairs just because I "looked tired".
Food very good. All the staff very pleasant and helpful.
Location and freindly staff.
Very noisy .not worth ninety euros.
Well patronised bar for food so there is always a buzz when having lunch or dinner, and the quality of the food was very good. The breakfast room and breakfast choice was also very good, and the times from and to take breakfast, were perfect.
There is no sitting room for guests to use, for planning their day, or meeting other guests, only the bar, or your room.
Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Very nice lounge bar. Large selection of breakfast and evening meals available. Very clean establishment.
Rooms were noisy at night time - especially at front of building from the road. Not suitable for very light sleepers.
Friendly, helpful staff. Easy access to WiFi Ample supply of tea, coffee & creams in room
Lovely clean room. Very warm and friendly staff. A credit to the hotel. A lovely touch was the offer of a complimentary take away cup of coffee on departure.
Rooms were slightly on the small side
Good variety at breakfast
attentive and friendly staff, clean room, lovely shower, great food
Staff were friendly and helpful. Food in the bar was excellent value for money. Breakfast was good.
Hall carpet was worn/badly fitted
restaurant food was top notch and very friendly staff
room was VERY small and it was very difficult to get baggage to the room. Had to walk with bags through the restaurant dining area and up two flights of stairs as there were no elevators.
