Buses and aircoach from airport stop right outside the door. Easy and pleasant walking by canal and through Georgian district to galleries and museums. Staff welcoming and room quiet
Toilet located in the shower It didnt affect me but the lift was out of order and the porcelain cap on the shower handle was smashed with sharp edges the dining room which I ate in only on my last morning seemed a bit joyless and bleak, and the food was not freshly cooked which i expect in a large chain but not in a smaller establishment.
Very helpful staff when we had problems. Breakfast buffet very good with lots of selection and so was the location, we got the bus first day as we weren't sure but walked every where after that.
The beds were very uncomfortable with springs sticking in back, after second night I told the reception staff I wasn't happy and they changed the mattresses for when we had returned from sightseeing they were a lot better. There was a really thick layer of dust on top of the sauna (2 cm) which was just below eye level for me. They did clean it proper when I asked. Also the sauna handle was broken so it couldn't be used properly but they fixed it when I asked. It just would of been better if I hadn't of needed to go and mention these things.
Very good location and warm and very clean
Big climb to the top floor
Great value and location.
Lift not working !
Friendly staff, 10 minute walk into the city, quiet, pubs and restaurants just across the street,
hot breakfast wasn't great, was cold in the breakfast room. It could do with a make over, getting a bit out of date.
Early check in, took our bags up.
Shower was just a trickle
Staff were friendly. Room was very clean.
Smell of bleach in the room and bedroom was very strong.
Perfect location. Very clean. Lovely staff.
Lift was broken.
We stayed just 1 night, and it was perfect for a night out in Dublin. Great location as walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars.
Free breakfast, great location, nice staff.
Limited number of parking spaces! The room was quite cold at night. No radiator in the bathroom.
The B&B is in an excellent location with a bus stop across the road .
Tasty breakfast Powerful shower
Lift out of order
sauna and jacuzzi in the room, free wi-fi, good breakfast, good bus connections, airport bus stopping near the hotel, luggage storage facilities
a bit far from the centre; at some point there was no hot water anymore
Convienent to town short walk Free Parking Nice quiet room with sauna Very pleasant staff Ideal for short break as in the middle of everything.
The room was comfortable and warm, the bathroom very clean and having a sauna in your room was a real bonus in freezing January.
We arrived at The Leeson Guesthouse at about 10 am and weren't expecting to be able to check in till 2pm. However a room was available and the receptionist kindly let us check in early. She also gave us some tips and advice as this was or first trip to Dublin. She was very friendly and helpful. The room (111) was comfortable and clean, and had everything we needed. We were on the ground floor quite near to traffic lights on a main road, but I don't think this was a major issue (unless you are a light sleeper). It's a good location, close enough to walk into the main shopping and Temple Bar area but far enough out to get away from the noise at night. We thoroughly enjoyed our first trip to Dublin and look forward to visiting again. We would recommend the Leeson Guesthouse.
The only problem we had was the shower, bit of a trickle and took ages to warm up.
The staff were lovely and very helpful. The facilities were excellent and we came home very relaxed and refreshed. Very convenient location and very close to city centre and the secure parking was a great bonus. Couldn't recommend highly enough. Thank you Leesonbridge!
Size of the room Fast wifi Comfortable bed Sauna in room! Helpful staff
Difficult to get a taxi on this location. Better to book in advance. Not their fault though
Close to center, 10-15 min walk to Stephen's Green. Friendly staff :)
The breakfast was tasty and filling. We loved sitting in the sauna after a long day of sight seeing.
Can't think of anything!
Comfortable bed, free WiFi, lovely sauna in room that was great on a cold evening followed by a lovely hot Jacuzzi bath. Central location. Free parking. Will definitely book again. Good value.
Very comfortable bed and great location.
Upon arrival we were greeted by what can only be described as an obnoxious teenager who opened the door and said nothing! We stood at the reception desk and he still said nothing. We said we're here to check in and he said nothing, just pointed to an envelop with my name on! Awful service!!
nice place, nice staff. Right price. Our room was big and we had also the sauna (never used).
in the morning the room was overwhelm by breakfast smell...really not so nice.
Very nice double bed, small jacuzzy, coffee and tea in the room
Hot water runs out quickly, faulty shower, there was a hot water boiler behind a closed door just next to my bed wich was a bit noisy when operating
After living in Dublin for many years i now moved to the UK, but i frequently visit my friends back in Ireland. Leeson Bridge is always my first choice because of the affirdable price, because it's clean and for its superb location.
