In the heart of the Georgian city of Dublin, this 3-star guesthouse features traditional dècor and furnishings. It was built in the 18th century, and was once part of the Earl of Clonmel’s estate.

The location was very good
the place needs upgrading and the room was not very clean
Wifi in the room and good location
Really poorly finished, loose tiles in the bathroom floor and not a great bed
I stayed 5 nights. i met 3 or 4 various girls at reception. The business is blessed with the staff, - i would say it is the best thing in this place. 2 nd thing i loved- no matter that it is leeson street location- it is VERY quiet, no night door banging, no noises, no midnight corrdor talks/shouts, etc- extremely peaceful. People seeking a place to stay in Dublin during visiting the city- NOT a right place for you, - it is for a visitors like me - use the facilities for bed and shower.
nohing that i can say i did not like. all i can say is the priceis = to the decor. do no take me wrong- i knew what it ill be like, i chose location for NOT to pay for taxis or wait for a bus. his is no a holiday resort to stay- it is only for sleep over, shower and that s all.
Bus 700 from the airport drops outside the door! Many bus routes available from yards away. Lovely old Georgian building. Really dry crisp towels.
Fixed head shower with ultra powerful flow/wide spray. Good for some but not of you're 152cm and don't want to wash your hair! Could have done with spare pillows.
Excellent location Excellent staff
Dirty mugs Unable to lock bedroom door from inside
Very good location. Suitable for a night out on the town.
Location, price and staff.
Location, price, late checkout time.
Bed comfort, bouncy mattress, quite small rooms
Beautiful Georgian building, good location, cheap
Very noisy radiator and noise fr the street. Uncomfortably warm.
Location and price are very competitive.
The radiator in the room couldn't be turned off, so it was like a furnace during the night. The bed itself was uncomfortable. The wc was freezing, heating element had been removed. The room was cramped, the door to the wc wouldn't fully open. The few channels on the TV buffered constantly. No noise insulation in the windows resulting in high noise from traffic.
Close to the city Center
Old furniture and bathroom. Not really clean
The bed was confortable
There is no wifi in a bedroom.
Stayed here myself my friends were in hotel round corner very central
Helpful staff, good location (10 minutes walk from Trinity). As their website said, the airport bus stops less than 100 meters from the hotel and that was really good for us!
Can't think of anything! It has everything you may expect from a b&b.
Lumpy bed Tiny room Unhelpful staff
Location is excellent. Staff are helpful.
It was clean but some of it is a bit grubby and shabby- tile grouting, curtains
I have stayed there twice in the past four months. First time was perfect. Second time, still clean, comfortable, amazing location.
The second time I stayed here, I arrived before check in so I left my things in the lobby as directed, next to the reception desk. I came back two hours later, and although I did not notice at that exact moment (I had a fair amount of luggage), a bag was and is still missing. I don't want to make accusations, but the bag is gone and the staff was no help at all finding it. I doubt they even kept an eye on the luggage. It contained my laptop charger as well as all the souvenirs I'd collected from around Europe for the past three months. So upsetting!! The staff seemed to not believe me that it was missing. Also upsetting, at checkout the staff told me my card was declined although it was not. Overall, great location, clean and comfortable, but staff is very lacking. No use in having 24 hour reception if the staff is not mentally present.
Amazing location at a reasonable price. Nice decor. Beds made daily. Overall yeah I'd go back again it's amazingly easy to get to the city centre from here.
Got there at 7:00 off the plane and couldn't check till 2. Tried to leave our bags but you have to abandon them in the lounge. When we came back at 2 the cleaners had just left all of their things in the room and abandoned it. There was also the issue that if you have to give your room key to reception every time you leave the hotel for some reason.
Fantastic value given the location and the room was much better than I expected for the money. It is compact but clean and comfortable.
Very Thin walls, could hear everything in other rooms. The receptionist was standing outside the front smoking and chatting when I walked in to Check in, I stood waiting at the desk until she finished her cigarette and conversation. There was a strange smell in the room when I went in first but was fine when I returned after a few hours.
I am not a lightsleeper but still really appreciated the lack of noise from this neighbourhood. It seems that the hotel provides first come first serve basis car parking spaces. However I found the on street parking to be rather plentiful esp on Wilton Terrace and appear to be safe. Room was spacious (perhaps due to being placed in the 3-bed room) and was cleaned out on daily basis. Everything also seem to be in working order.
Does not seem to have an elevator. Thankfully our room was on the first floor. There are no toiletries provided in the bathroom which might make a difference to some - there is however some refilled liquid soap in handwash bottle that could possibly be for everything.
the shower was just warm enough on the first morning !
Comfortable and clean Good location
Small room No hot water for shower
staff very friendly, location was great.
no heating or hot water, room really small,
