Comfortable bed,clean and quite.
Lack of parking space but that can't be helped.
I loved everything about my stay at Leim Siar B&B. The purpose of my stay was to relax and recuperate from the stress of a busy working life and this place was ideal. Hannah was an excellent hostess with so much local knowledge to share. Her kindness went beyond my expectations. The B&B is clean, comfortable, food was excellent and the relaxed atmosphere was just perfect, home from home. The location with such beautiful scenery is perfect for those wanting to unwind and get away from it all.
Location is great, facility is clean and homey, the staff did everything possible to make our stay memorable
Hannah, the owner was absolutely wonderful. She had tea/coffee and scones for us when we arrived. We were there early September and there was a triathlon that weekend which made for a really fun Saturday. It all happened right outside our door! That night at the pub two doors down there was live Irish music played by the locals. The scenery and surroundings on the peninsula are beautiful. We were made to feel welcomed by everyone in town! Take advantage of the bicycle rentals and explore the area.
I don't even want to say that I didn't like it, but need to have people realize that Black Sod is at the bottom of the peninsula and is a 20 minute ride from Belmullet. It is well worth the trip!
Friendly, warm, we wished we could have stayed longer.
Very nice place at a quiet and peaceful location. Great views! It is a very small village with very nice beaches and one pub (good soup & sandwiches). Ideal spot to bring the dog. Hannah is a great host, very knowledgeable and helpful. Very good breakfast with home backed bread and scones. Dogs are welcome in the room. Whenever we are back in the area we will stay there again.
Not much, actually.
This B & B is located in a very remote area that is far from the normal tourist destinations. We enjoyed the opportunity to connect with the locals, to learn about their way of life and to experience the "Wild Atlantic."
We have no complaints about this B & B.
On calling to the B&B we were offered tea and delicious home made scones - a lovely touch. The staff & land lady were most pleasant and helpful
We went to play golf at Carne (Glenmullet) and decided to stay one night close-by at Blacksod where we very much appreciated the hospitality and kindness of Hannah and her staff. The place has great views on Achill Island, good walks with several beaches at walking distance and a nice fishing harbor. The highlight of the stay was a fantastic night a the local pub with Hannah where the musicians of the Blacksod festival gave a tremendous jam. Guess what - some of the musicians stayed at Hannah's place where we met them again for an excellent breakfast with scones and röstis.
Great breakfast, knowledgeable and friendly hosts, good location (Mayo Sculpture Trail point within walking distance), clean room with lovely view out of the sea.
No coffee/tea making options in the room.

Hannah and her staff were very attentive without being intrusive and provided very useful information and tips about what to see. The level of facilities provided were top class.
The friendly welcome was wonderful. We were made to feel at home in this lovely B&B.
The staff and owner were great: very friendly, interested in conversing with us, very nice people.
All the staff were fantastic, really helpful and very friendly. Rooms were spotless, wi-fi was quick, and the location was absolutely breathtaking. Special mention to Hannah, who was super helpful and an absolutely wonderful host. Quite possibly the best B&B I've ever stayed in.Will definitely be coming back.
Lovely B&B Hannah was a super hostess, friendly, homely, helpful, cheerful - couldn't have asked for more! Breakfast was yummy! Facilities for making tea, coffee, etc great room lovely and big / airy staff working with Hannah all super polite, friendly, helpful; such a lovely atmosphere in the B&B, really had a lovely stay
nothing ! was really a lovely break - would definitely recommend Hannah's Leim Siar to anyone heading that far West for a break;
Owners were fantastic, prepared to go that extra mile for their guests and good company , food was excellent. It felt more like staying with old friends than a b& b
