Staff excellent at reception
Room 514 lovely view of river Shannon, clean, comfy, great value for price we paid! Comfortably accommodated 4 adults.
Beautiful hotel, great food, central location, easy to find.
Comfy bed, nice shower. OK restaurant downstairs.
Lots of noise from street. There was a band downstairs (on a Tuesday!) and the windows might as well be open, as they offer no soundproofing. Every drunk shouting and singing on the street could be heard. Renovation caused lots of dust.grime in the halls.
Location of hotel and parking facilities are great. It was great value for money, the staff in the morning were helpful and friendly.
Some staff were more friendlier and helpful than others. Have stayed in this hotel a few times when it was Jurys, but just felt on this occasion, it lacked something, got a feeling the ambiance and the hotel felt dated and worn, it could with a freshening up.
The staff were extremely helpful and efficient
Car parking charges expensive. Hotel located on a busy road juction so some traffic noise, but tolerable
Quiet basic, but clean and excellent location for socialising around town.
Clean bedrooms , friendly staff, nice food good bar
Its in a great spot the staff are brill and very helpful and the bar has made it even more welcoming and relaxing. Thanks again to all reception and bar staff we will be back again.
I dealt with Joanna and asley. Both were kind helpful and patient. Great location. Mcgettigans is also a great pub.
We had a double camp bed and also a single bed. Both need to be replaced, double bed moved when sat on, single bed was very uncomfortable, it was like a heavy man had slept in it for a week and it had his shape in mattress. For what we payed I wouldn't complain, great value for money.but at the same time, I'd have liked a better mattress. (Had to share bed with friend)
Quick and easy check in, great location and good price.
It was a fair stay. Not much to complain, not much to rave about
Location was not so central, but being a small city, it was ok. The shower was a bit odd. No mat inside the tub and in order to be under water we had to step on the drain and close it in the process...
The hotel staff were helpful and as we were group of ten friends, made an effort to put our rooms near each other which was great! The location is very central which was handy as we didn't have to use transport at all. The wifi was an added bonus and it worked perfectly. We also spent a lot of time in McGettigans pub within the hotel which we really liked.
We were a group of ten friends, but were told we could not be in each others rooms as more than 3 people could not be in a room at one time. We felt this was something that would put us off coming back as we had paid for the rooms and we should be able to be in them as a group in the evenings if we didn't want to sit in the bar. The beds were also quite uncomfortable.
Was really upset by the extra charge for the car park .
Everything was similar to our last stay there room was tidy and comfortable
Room was cold during the night High noise levels from the hall and from the street weren't very appealing at 4:30 am
Staff very friendly and helpful Bar was excellent
good central location, friendly staff, comfortable room
Hotel is undergoing renovations...they should have just closed completely, redone everything and then reopened. Carpets were DISGUSTING! We had connecting rooms and it was obvious the doors had not been opened in possibly years.
The new bar and the friendly staff in the breakfast room .
OK I should have checked but I thought a hotel of that size would have a gym or pool. It did not and to pay 99 euro for a room without breakfast included is too expensive.
Apols headings mixed up. What I did like was the bar staff were great at their job, really sound out and accommodating. There was a lovely elderly usher type security man checking room numbers of the way up to the lifts and he was very charming and friendly. It is the staff and the lovely bar food that make this hotel.
Dinner at McGettigan's
Noisy late night crowd and hotel guests.
Staff and location
Late bar should av been opened for longer.
Renovations begun at 9.30am, loud hammering and drilling in the floor above us. The staff didn't mention this on check in.
Very nice receptionist and staff very. Friendly
Very disappointed with the room after booking well in advance of stay ..could not be changed cause ye were fully booked ..beds very uncomfortable and not very presentable compared to other rooms ..
