Just as well that there was a kettle in room as I had hosp app so wasn't even offered a cereal but still had to pay full price.
there was mould in the ceiling what a joke of a place.
Price, location, friendliness
Bed - 2 single beds - felt like camp beds, not very comfortable.
The owners are a very welcoming couple, the room was ok and the Irish breakfast was great!
Very friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere. Very comfortable and great breakfast
The couple that runs the B&B was extraordinarily accommodating. They served a nice breakfast at the time of our request. The bus stop is only a two minute walk down the road. It's about a 20 minute walk to the center of town.
Friendly couple. Easy walk into town. Lovely stay.
I liked the location of the B&B. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful.
The lock on the window in the shower room was broke so window could not be opened. Also shower cubicle grouting could do with touching up.
The room was good
Very friendly and welcoming owners
Family/triple room is quite small
Very Friendly and full of advice with places to visit. Breakfast was great and beds were pretty comfortable.
Wifi was not very good. And a little far from night life. Other than that no complaints.
Breakfast was delicious
I didn't find the hosts very friendly and was scolded in the breakfast room for not wearing shoes even though I was the only guest staying in the house at the time. The room was a little cold in the evening.
The staff were lovely and breakfast was good. The house was quiet and a short bus ride to the city centre.
The room was dusty with a lot of cobwebs. The pulley for the blind was dirty. The room was extremely small.
Friendly hosts, location and TV channels. Also, good breakfast!
It was a good distance from city, but walkable! The sheets were clean and fresh!
The room was basic and the television did not work. Room was small and we booked a triple but there were only two of us!
Location was excellent, the staff were very helpful and very nice. Lovely cosy room. Breakfast very good. Would stay there again next time in cork. I would highly recommend it.
Value-for-money stay Wonderful hosts Excellent breakfast
Lack of parking space
location quite close to city centre - 30 min walk. good breakfast. polite staff
facilities were old. it's not a big problem with bedding and furniture. however, kettle in the room is so old (probably from 80s) that bottom was melted and smell of boiled water was horrible. I could not use it. it would not pass any health and safety standard and is well past it's use by date. tea making facilities included 3 teabags and sugar. no milk, coffee. wifi was poor and didnt work in my room i had to go to corridor to get connected to it. guys from the room next door had same problems. For 50 euro a night (i stayed 5 days) i think they could update a bit their facilities. although b&b had only 4 rooms the atmosphere was not cosy and comfortable. i wouldn't recommend it. i stayed later for the less price in a better served b&b.
Everything was great...Room...Breakfast...Etc...Could not fault a thing
Very friendly staff. University College Cork is on the doorstep and the city centre is a short walk away
Rooms only single rooms but as doubles, out dated
Excellent breakfast, good position, warm welcome and good suggestions on what to visit
Single room has toilet outside the room which means a trek across very squeaky floorboards potentially waking the whole house in the middle of the night
The owner was very helpful and welcoming. The location is just a 15 minute walk from the city centre or there is a bus stop directly outside. Beds were comfy and rooms were very clean. The breakfast included was very good.
The room was a little small, but we had a triple and it is hard to fit 3 beds in one room.
