    It was quiet.

Minimum items of furniture in the room which seemed to date from the 1970s. Television didn't work and I couldn't find anyone to ask to fix it. With no TV, there was no chair to sit in and read my book. The bed had a weird rubberised undersheet which was odd and uncomfortable. The shower tray filled up and was about to overflow after my quick shower in the morning. Finally the hosts were unable to tell me where I could purchase a parking voucher to park my car round the corner on Mardyke which seemed unbelievable!

Location was walking distance to the city center, the owners were very nice and helpful. They took care of any issues immediately and the breakfast was great.

The rooms were a bit small and felt warm.

Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good.

B&B is in a bad area of Cork. Everyone we spoke too told us not to walk around at night by ourselves, that we were in the area where the Heroin addicts are. No lift to the second floor - we had 2 bags each.....Breakfast room was cramped, almost sitting on top of other people. WiFi would work off and on in the room. Room had mold in it.

A comfortable friendly well placed B&B. Bus stop for Cork City practically outside the front door. Parking space for vehicles also available on site.

It's on a main road so it's easy to get around the city.

Our room was so small you couldn't fully open the bathroom door. I also thought the dishes were not clean for breakfast.

Friendly staff, good location. On main road, easy access to city & exiting to country areas.

Room too small for the double & single beds in room. Wi-Fi only accessable on ground floor, in lounge area.

Perfect place if you want to stay in a nice, old Irish house with friendly, open hosts. As we stayed there for a few days, we asked for some changes in the Irish breakfast, and all our requests were eagerly fulfiled :) Great coffee :) We also booked a good weather, and they managed even that ;)

Lovely couple, very friendly and helpful. Great location and breakfast was lovely. But I wouldn't hesitate to return. Regards, Johnny Bambury

Only flaw, we got a small room with child-sized single beds.

Breakfast ok. Had a good sleep. Close to my place of interest and opposite UCC.

Toilet in the lobby. Old dusty building, rooms not refurbished, old and a bit dirty looking. Ridiculous doorkeys. Quite noisy from the cars. Wifi very poor, often not working at all for a long time. Min. 15 minutes walk to city.

Well-placed, not too far to walk from the City centre. Friendly and informative hosts.

Our room and facilities felt a little on the dated and 'tired' side - all 'OK' but nothing special. Limited power sockets and surfaces available meant kettle had to go on the floor to be used.

The inn owner was extremely kind and helpful. We had dietary needs that we're happily accommodated for when serving breakfast. The house was a short walk away from shops and pubs and a short bus ride away from city centre.

Wifi wasn't very strong. I had to be in the washroom in order to connect. The house needs a few updates (door locks, washroom doors needs to be repaired (It didn't close), issues flushing the toilet, needs more outlets)
