Lorcan Lodge Bed and Breakfast  

Very helpfully hosts made our stay enjoyable and very comfortable. Very nice people and really careful to our needs.

We loved everything, Rose was wonderful, her husband was right there to help. The food was fantastic and the house adorable. What a great experience for my daughter and I. We wish at the end of our stay in Ireland we had booked with them. If ever we go back we are planning on staying longer at their house. My family has requested there email so they can stay there too. We feel like we have made friends.

Great stuff. The host herself is a great woman - you will feel surrounded by hospitality an care. Very clean rooms. Breakfast options, quickly cooked. Very close to a bus stop - 10 min slow walk max. Nice quiet area - perfect for sleeping after a long touring day :)

Easy to find, well located between airport and city and with buses very close by. A pleasant and quiet neighbourhood. Appreciated the off street parking. The hosts were very friendly and most helpful. Being warmly greeted and offered tea/coffee and a 'cookie' was really appreciated. Breakfasts were excellent, Use of both a kitchenette and comfortable lounge area added to the quality of our stay. There is also free wifi.

Location betwen Airpor and city centre of Dublin is perfect. bus station near shopping centre just 3 minutes walk from B&B. Great hospitality, nice owners..Good bus connection to Dublin centre ant very quiet around the B&B. Just love the breakfast. Would love to stay at lorcan again.

Not only the house is very nice good bedroom and mattress but the people are so kind and gentle. Would not doubt to get there again or recommender

Die Eigentümerin und ihre Angestellte waren außergewöhnlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war für irische Verhältnisse sehr üppig.

Das Zimmer wurde recht sparsam geheizt.

A dona da casa era bem-educada. O quarto tinha uma limpeza aceitável. The hostess was polite. The room had an acceptable cleaning.

Um quarto minúsculo onde só era possível abrir a mala em cima da cama pois não havia outra superfície onde pudéssemos fazê-lo. O quarto de banho, também minúsculo, tinha um problema intermitente com o autoclismo, no qual a água apenas era dispensada em intervalos tendo nós que carregar diversas vezes no manípulo (o problema acabou por se resolver por si). Apesar da reserva incluir um pequeno-almoço britânico completo, tal não aconteceu, apenas nos restando a hipótese de escolher entre cereais e pão branco duma marca de supermercado, acompanhado de um café que tinhamos que ser nós mesmos a fazer. Ao menos havia alguma fruta e dois iogurtes no frigorífico. A senhora devia achar que cozinhar um pequeno-almoço às sete da manhã era pedir demais. Se o preço fosse metade do pedido até seria aceitavel. Mas dado que o preço eram 70 euros tornou impossivel dar qualquer classificação positiva. Não nos foi dado qualquer recibo do nosso pagamento. A tiny room where you could only open the suitcase on the bed because there was no other surface, or enough floor where we could do it. The bathroom, also tiny, had an intermittent problem with the toilet, in which water was dispensed only at intervals and we had to push the handle several times (it solved by itself). Although our reservation included a full British breakfast, that didn't happen as no one was awake to cook us a decent meal. We only had the chance to choose between cereals or white bread from a supermarket brand, along with a coffee we had to be doing ourselves. At least there was some fruit and two yogurts on the fridge. We reckon the landlady might have thought cooking breakfast at seven in the morning was too much to ask. If it were half the price of the order to be acceptable. But since the price was 70 euros made it impossible to give any positive rating. No receipt was printed for us when we gave her the money the day before we left.

La ubicación está muy bien: a 10 mins del aeropuerto de Dublin, y con parada de bus al lado del b&b que en 25 mins te deja en el centro de la ciudad y para volver tienes hasta las 11.30 de la noche. La sra. Muy amable y con predisposición a ayudarte en lo que necesites. El desayuno era muy completo, y si te apetecía otra cosa no había problema. La habitación que tuvimos era muy grande, fantástica! La zona donde está es residencial, por lo que en la noche se está super tranquilo.

La disponibilità e' una delle qualità del b&B. La pulizia lo è altrettanto!! Consigliato per chi come me e' arrivato di notte in aereo , in 7 min di taxi ( 12 euro) ero già in stanza . Giudizio finale : ottimo!

La posizione è strategica: comoda all' areoporto (arrivando di notte non è cosa da poco) e con il bus n°16 sono cinque minuti dal centro di Dublino,le stanze accoglienti e pulite la colazione ottima e infine la meravigliosa disponibilità di Mrs Rose, e le sue energie spese per capirci e farsi capire (nessuno di noi parla inglese).Un soggiorno perfetto.

gutes Frühstück, flexible, sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Chefin, Flughafen schnell erreichbar und auch die City ist mit dem Bus sehr gut zu erreichen

chambre très petite (bien pour 1 ou 2 nuits maxi) mais au calme. accès aéroport facile et court accès centre ville par bus 25 minutes.
