I thought the staff were lovely

I stayed in room 2, and there was really strong smell of stale cigarette smoke, also bathroom really needed updating. Bed was comfortable though.Also as single traveller I was unable to book single room on website.

Everything about the hotel from the staff to the facilities. Nothing is to much trouble and you can tell they work hard to make sure your stay is a good one

We were made very welcome and the room was perfect for a family, the breakfast was excellent and overall really good value for money

The only slight negative was food for dinner, kids menu had no veg or fruit

Location is perfect, the friendliest check in we have experienced in a long long time. Beata is a credit to this place, so friendly and chatty and helpful.

Bathroom shower was a little "limp" ya know the type , had to run around in the shower to get wet .

i loved the easy atmosphere of the place and the staff were so pleasant, friendly and helpful.,it was lovely to find such nice people all in one place.

The staff at this hotel were fantastic. ( Beata,Liz,and David to name a few ! ) they gave great information of places to go and see . The bar/resturant had special deals on like 2xsteak and get 2 starters free and add a bottle of house wine for €11! The steaks were perfect and on both nights there was a group on . What more could you ask for ? We will definitely return. The Curragh race course is a mile out the road and Kildare Village is a walkable distance or 5 minutes by car !!!

From the minute we arrived we were greeted my the manageress ?? who is extremely friendly and informative. Also we were impressed with how laid back they were about late check out, as we stayed on Saturday night and we were delighted with the lie in on Sunday morning and the 12 o clock breakfast. Would definately stay again.

Good throughout, frendly helpful staff

The staff in the Lord Edward were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We enjoyed our stay with them. Food was good and good atmosphere all around.

We stayed in room 30 and had a wonderful stay, The staff at Lord Edward were extremely helpful,friendly and accomodating. We had lovely meals in the onsite restaurant and we really enjoyed the entertainment in the bar. we will definitely be returning to stay at the Lord Edward.

Room was very comfortable and clean. Great location,

We had a very noisy gang of people in the next room, from 3.30am keeping us awake. Although this wasn't the hotels fault there didn't seem to be anyone on the premises like a night porter that we could complain to.

Room and beds were lovely, large and comfortable.

There was no bath tub in the en-suite. I didnt like that there was no reception and one had to check in at the bar and then walk across a car park to the accomodation.

Very friendly and thoughtful staff made our stay a pleasure. Room was spotless and bed very comfortable! Food was to a very high standard. All in all a very enjoyable experience.

I have often stayed in this hotel and I have always found it a very warm and friendly place where the staff are so helpful and the breakfast so lovely. The accommodation is so comfortable, warm, safe and inviting. There is never a problem with car parking and your car is always safe and secure.

I thoroughly enjoyed the overnight acommodation with my daughter and grand daughter for a wedding in Killenard.It was a perfect location convenient for Dublin airport,the manager made us most welcome and we enjoyed a meal in Flannagans before leaving for the wedding in Killenard. We slept well in comfortable beds and it was very quiet.We left at 7am.Thanks.Maura.

I liked Lord Edward because everything was in the one place, it was very convenient.

Very comfortable room with a big ass TV. En quite impressive. Parking and wifi excellent. Best bang for buck I ever spent.
