Lovely locations, staff very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended
Large rooms all with ensuite bathrooms. Double and single bed in each room Scones Milk, butter & Jam on arrival The walk round the lake (or bike ride), if you are bringing your kids make sure to bring your bikes. New play park just on the other side of the lake.
Cottages are a tad dated, could do with a upgrade. They are also cold, glad I stayed in the summer, you pay extra for Electric and I am sure this costs loads in the winter! Café was closed the 3 times we wanted to use it! Bring your own travel cot, the ones they have are pretty bad.
Location of the cottages in relation to Castlebar Town; setting next to the lake; and the amount of space in the cottage
Showers took a long time to heat up and were only a steady trickle; crockery in the kitchen was a bit haphazard, and the milk jug in the press was actually mouldy
I went for the easter weekend to lough lannagh cottages and was very happy with everything. The area was lovely with fab walks the kids loved the two local playgrounds. it was quiet at night and was just a lovely place to stay. We usually stay in self catering houses and have to say this was one of the nicest and cleanest places we stayed the rooms was very spacious. We would definitely go back again
The only fault I would have was that one lunch we ate in the café and the food was not greatthe chips were burnt and and the sandwiches were very bland and dry the staff was lovely but would not eat at the café again.
Excellent Service and Everybody was so Helpful. Cottage was perfect and location Fantastic. I would definitely recommend and will be back. Thank you.
Large rooms with everything you could need provided.
