would highly recommend beautiful location interior furnishings in keeping with a castle log fires very comfortable made nice gesture with complimentary drinks and wine to celebrate our special occasion and staff extremely friendly and helpful

Only fault no bottled water in rooms

we loved the ambiance of Lough Rynn from the moment we arrived. The welcome was lovely and all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and restful and the food was very good. Our room was small and beautiful with a view of the lake, the bathroom was very nice too. The bed was hugely comfortable. The hotel is fantastic value for money and I'd highly recommend it.

Fantastic staff, location and food, beautiful grounds and gardens, very relaxing

Food was excellent, aided by a very efficient and friendly 'waiter', and the drawing-room ambiance was wonderful. Great for a good stroll. The Hotel was nicely heated considering a cold, windy few days. We had an excellent deal, and the choices of menus were welcome.

For bad weather, lack of pool and related facilities was a disadvantage. We were not aware of any spa facility (if such exists). Not listed on website or hotel manual? Duvet choice might be worthwhile....found the existing duvet very heavy. (minor complaint!)

It is beautiful relaxing and friendly. We would highly recommend it to stay in. And we will be returning in spring.. :-))

The Hotel is not a castle, there is however a castle in the grounds.

Like most hotels nowadays, a bottle of water is not automatically left in the room.

the hotel has a genuine castle feel, the rooms are beautifully decorated. The public space are also classically decorated, plenty of space to relax. All staff very friendly and the hotel has a relaxed atmosphere. Would recommend to all friends.

Great Service and 5 star restaurant on site. They offered you everything you could want in a top stay resort type hotel and its a Manor house / castle to boot. beautiful; grounds and trails to hike on lovely lake.

Only two TV reception terrible like the1960 wavy lines poor color etc. I mentioned they needed satellite TV they just made excuses, but to put up accept that level of TV reception is beneath a place like this. Second was your door was half glass so to maintain privacy you had to close Hugh heavy curtains or anyone walking by could see in your room. Trying to get in and out of that door with the heavy curtain in your way was a pain. I guess no place is perfect.

We were attending a wedding and no effort was spared in ensuring everyone was well looked after and enjoyed themselves. The location is stunning and was greatly enhanced by the good weather we enjoyed.

The long journey from Cork was offset by a most enjoyable experience.

Humming fuse box in our sleeping room our room had no window to the outside garden, just one to the corridor, where electric light was shining through the whole night. We think it was because of the quite low price we had to pay through booking.com?! (€ 115/night/room) hotel staff seemed really under pressure (breakfast service, reception, hotel boy), but was endeavoured to appear friendly

Excellent in all respects - I would highly recommend from the beautiful setting, history and magnificant presentation of such a grand building through to genuine hospitality of staff and overall ambience.

It might have the best restaurant in Co Leitrim but it is not the best in Ireland. The service was great but the food was a little disappointing.

Especialmente la ubicación. Además, el servicio excelente, decoración, alojamiente. en pocas palabraas - todo. Merece la pena alojarse allí por el jardín.

Das Sandstone Restaurant ist einen Besuch wert. Etwas teurer, aber man bekommt etwas mehr als Pub-Essen. Das Ambiente ist sehr schoen und das Essen war auch sehr lecker, besonderes der Nachtisch. Es gibt einen sehr schoenen Garten und die Umgebung fuer einen romantischen Spaziergang.

Fuer den Preis von 115€/ Nacht bekommt man kein Zimmer direkt im Schloss, sondern in einem Haus nebenan. Das Zimmer hatte eine einfache Ausstattung, etwas edler, aber wir haben aufgrund der Internet Photos etwas mehr erwartet. Man koennte auch eine Bodenheizung im Bad legen, die Fliesen waren ziemlich kalt.

Die Lage und der Charme des Schloss-Hotels. Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet und vielfältig.

Château exceptionnel ! Les chambres sont magnifiques et confortables, le petit déjeuner vraiment copieux et varié. Parc du château très bien entretenu... Que du rêve
