The friendly accommodating hostess was a pleasure. The size and cleanliness of the rooms was excellent with plenty of towels and a bathrobe. The standard and choice of food at dinner and breakfast was also excellent. The quiet peaceful ambiance is wonderful. This is a perfect getaway small hotel and I would recommend it for mature couples/friends and romantic breaks. The views are stunning (particularly when the sun comes out) so having a room at the front of the lodge is recommended. The fires were not lit in the 2 front reception rooms during the day. A welcoming fire would have encouraged us to stay and order drinks or tea/coffee but we decided to go out instead. |

Beautiful location, Beautiful house They weren't available on the phone around 20:00 on the first day when we needed some help with finding the location (the answer machine says that they answer only until 17:30) - it was very stressing |

My Husband and myself both consider this to be the best Hotel we have ever stayed in. We were looking for a small luxury hotel without crowds so that we could enjoy our wedding anniservary peacefully. This hotel fitted the bill perfectly. All of the staff obviously enjoy their job and this came across in their attitude to their guests. We will definetly be coming back. |

The setting and the promixity to walks as well as the friendliness of the personnel and of course the quality of the food and boarding. I would find it too expensive to dine every evening therefore I did so elsewhere. I would suggest to add a lighter and less expensive menu. |

De supervriendelijke, ontspannen, humoristische ontvangst. Het knusse, familiale karakter. Je reist een beetje terug in de tijd maar zonder verlies van enige comfort. Prachtige ligging, omgeving! Heerlijk ontbijt en avondmaal. |

La vue de la chambre sur les collines du Connemara est magnifique. Le restaurant est excellent, nous avons mangé du saumon fumé "maison" et du homard frais. L'accueil en français nous a fait plaisir. Les chambres ont besoin d'un coup de neuf. Voir des poissons énormes sur le papier peint de la salle de bain le matin au réveil n'est pas génial,il y en a déjà partout dans les parties communes. Le personnel n'est pas formé pour un 4 étoiles |

Die familiäre Atmosphäre, der alte englische Stil in der Einrichtung und in der Führung des Hotels, gutes Frühstück, wirklich ruhige Lage. Duvets wären besser als die Laken mit Decken. |

Ich habe mich nie zuvor in einem Hotel, dass soviel Komfort bietet, gleichzeitig so zu Hause gefühlt. Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich, ohne aufdringlich zu sein, sehr gutes Essen und eine traumhafte Lage. Die Anfahrtsbeschreibung im Internet ist nicht sehr genau: das Hotel liegt mitten im nirgendwo, ist aber vor Ort gut ausgeschildert. Fazit: nicht ganz billig, aber sein Geld wert. |

Ett helt underbart första klass hotell, med en sagolik belägenhet, mitt i en stiorslaghen natur. En möjlighet för härliga promenader, fiske och friluftsliv. En mycket vänlig och "service-minded" personal. Underbara rum med speciellt sköna sängar, generösa badrum. Ett topphotell. |

Heel gezellige huiselijke sfeer!Ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel!Mooie grote hotelkamers!Het ontbijt en het diner was uitstekend!(de lokale vissers vangen 's morgens de vis die dan 's avonds opgediend wordt}Het is er 's nachts muisstil! Na het diner is er bijna geen mogelijkheid voor een wandeling, ivm de openbare weg die vlak voor het hotel loopt.Men mag bijna overal in Ierland max.100km/uur rijden.Het hotel is niet geschikt voor een gezin met jonge kinderen. |
