Warm welcome and excellent directions to a nearby restaurant with very good food and affordable prices.
Louth Hall was a fantastic facility. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and even had a historic ruin out the back door. We were surrounded by lovely gardens, and the food was excellent. I highly recommend this facility.
There was nothing about the facility we didn't like.
It was the first B&B we stayed in and a very pleasant start to our holiday touring Ireland. Mrs. Anne is indeed a passionate host, always ready to help and adjust to everyone’s needs while running a tasteful welcoming home, which is very representative of the local hospitality. We spent only one night there, but would certainly be back if I were in the area again.
nothing to mention here, really... we felt very welcome!
very good overall,nice friendly people.
Really top class, wonderful people to stay with. We are determined to go back asap. Best place in Ireland we have ever stayed in, and the kindness and decency shown to us by the owners was second to none.
There was nothing at all to dislike
Everything was perfect having been obviously thought through to the smallest detail (e.g. Fresh scones in your room on arrival) by the extremely friendly owners. I would definitely stay here again.
This must be the best B&B in Ireland. The couple who run it, Anne and Gerard are two of the nicest people you could ever meet, they go that extra mile to make sure you enjoy your stay with them. The rooms are beautiful and the homemade scones in the room was lovely when we arrived back after a lovely day out. The breakfast was amazing, they thought of everything. Many thanks to the both of them for the lovely stay, we will be back. Linda and Brian.
This is a first class accommodation. A real Home from Home with WONDERFUL HOSTS WHO WERE SO HELPFULL & made our holiday a very enjoyable experience. Very clean & an Excellent Breakfast
Having to return Home
Very nice host
weak WiFi. No ventilation in the bathroom
You could see Louth Hall form the Garden. Our hosts were very nice and friendly.
I can not think of any thing that I did not like.
We were anxious as we were looking to book a taxi to take us to a surprise party but the taxi company was busy. Gerard just offered to take us and would not accept any payment. Also, we had rinsed and left out a favourite football t shirt in the room after our son had spilled something on it. When we can back, it had been laundered and ironed. They are just nice people, and it was a great stay.
I stayed just one night as I was attending a wedding party at Darver Castle. Louth Hall was very convenient. The owners were very friendly and hospitable. The beds were very comfortable and the everything was spotless. Lovely stay!
Great stay here, really friendly and comfortable.
room was immaculate hostess was very friendly and helpful would recommend to friends
light coming in from light above door
Was the most beautiful part of the world and a lovely place to be. Anne the owner bent over backwards to make our stay the best ever. Sounds over the top to say excellent for everything, but that is what we genuinely feel.
Attention to detail, friendly went out of their way by arranging taxi for us coming back from late wedding reception. Home from home
The owners were helpful and very friendly . The rooms were spotless and had lovely fresh scones & tea when you arrived.
Nothing to dislike.
The B & B is situated on the R 171, a litte nuisance from the traffic. The room is a little small, shower and bed is ok. The hostess serves a good breakfast and is very friendly.
Noise of the traffic on the R 171.
Absolutely every detail had been thought through, and dealt with to a high standard. A hiccup with the shaver socket brought a collection of adapters to solve the problem, and decaffeinated coffee was produced when I asked if it might be available.
We absolutely loved our stay at Louth Hall B&B. Our hosts were lovely even when we arrived at 9:30 at night. Our rooms were beautifully decorated and the attention to detail was incredible. Each room was large and meticulously clean. We had fresh milk and tea and coffee trays. The bathrooms were very modern. We had a breakfast menu and Ann even catered to my vegetarian needs. The breakfasts were delicious set out in their front room overlooking a beautiful scenery of rolling hills. Louth Hall is a beautiful home with lovely hosts. They welcomed us into their kitchen for a lovely chat of the area and other interesting tid bits.
It would have been nice if we could have stayed longer!
extremely helpful and friendly couple running the property. Would strongly recommend
Very friendly clean and comfortable. Tea and scones provided on arrival.
Only one bedside light. Personal preference is for white towels they were coloured. On a very busy unlit road.
