It was a great location for the price close to everything .. Great for the one night as we were only visiting for a concert and it was very clean :)
Nice clean room, friendly staff at a great price.
My hot water tap was not working on the bath and there was only one working channel on the TV.
location was great
noisy next door banging the doors late at night and early in morning
Location is excellent in the very middle of the city, if you came to Dublin for sightseeing/shopping this hotel is located perfectly! It is very clean and tidy, rooms were of considerable size and staff was more than polite, helpful and professional (special bow to a young, extremely polite and capable receptionist Joe who made everything even better). To sum it up; brilliant value for money, veeeeeery satisfied!
Central location & staff courtesy
Chandelier in room requires cleaning.
The Hotel is on O'Connel street - you can't be more central. It is simple but the rooms are clean.
The staff could be more friendly (esp. In the restaurant).
We arrived very early in the morning but were allowed into the room ahead of time.
No view, other than over the rooftops. Not a single chair in the room. A slanted side that was easy to miss.
Location Comfort Price 24hr Reception
No WiFi in my room TV not working properly in my room Low Security Levels
Had booked one double for my partner and I, and a single for another male traveller, upon arrival we were informed that only one room available and there was a mix up with the bookings. This was an anniversary present to my partner to see a concert. We were given two options, first was to send our other friend twenty mins to another hotel or to share our room. The concert we were goin to was starting in the next hr and half so had no choice but to share our room in our anniversary break! Not very romantic! We were offered free breakfast as a way of an apology, and told a refund would be difficult as we prepaid 8 months earlier, we were really looking forward to this break away from the children only to have to share with another male.
The room is cosy and good enough for a short stay. The location is very central that comes handy during a short visit to Dublin.
The shower head in the bathtub isn't fixed lengthwise to the tub as usual but crosswise which makes showering uncomfortable. There is no shelf space by the sink. The floor in the room is crooked (a very old building) which you might feel when lying in the bed as well :-). The major problem is that it's extremely loud when you get a room to the street side like we did. The windows are a very old model and can barely dampen the noisiness.
The location is very central Staff hepful
Cramped hot room Noisy- no double glazing No air conditioning
The location was very good and the hotel was good value for money with courteous staff.
Little noisy during the evening as on a main road but this was to be expected.
Excellent location in the heart of the city and within walking distance of shopping area and major attractions
Could be improved with a bit of a lift off such as double glazed windows to reduce noise from rubbish trucks and sea gulls!
wrong room on arrival couldn't change it for 2 nights poor staff service dirty grubby bathrooms in both rooms we were given bedding disgusting ended up we bug bites due to the bed crawling we bed bugs
The staff was reallly friendly, the room clean and big enough. Great location!
nothing really!great value for money!
Staff were very friendly and helpful as it was our first visit to Dublin. The food in the next door restaurant was AMAZING. It was so close to every amenity.
The room wasnt the most spectacular but this was expected due to the good price.
Location is just perfect, very close to the Trinity College, shops, pubs and restaurants. The bus stops are all along O`Connell street, so it is fantastic for those who want to travel to Dublin Zoo and parks. Very good in particular for young people!
The room was a bit small and the tv set very old and useless (but you don't need to watch the tv in Dublin!!)
They advertised having wifi available in the hotel, but only 1 night out of the 4 we stayed could we get the wifi to work at all. There was a safe in the room intended for our use but it was already locked when we arrived so we were unable to use it. Our room faced a back alley as well and the walls are paperthin, and we hardly got any sleep do to the noise from other people in the hotel as well as from outside.
Shower badly positioned hence floor easily soaked. A temporary leak in bathroom I assume was caused by room above having similar problem.
great location, friendly and helpful stuff
Rooms too small, Dirty, Broken TV, broken window, I had my 7 year old son with me and there were no buttons on the front of the TV, which meant that you had to put your finger in a hole to press a button to turn the TV on.. NO CHILD LOCKS on the windows on the 2nd floor. Receptionist's answer to my complaints were, "we are a cheap hotel" more or less what do you expect!!!
The wifi connection was rather weak when staying on the 4th floor.
Location, friendly staff
Tiny room and relatively expensive but it was high season...
The room was very small and it was way to warm at night could not sleep with the noise of fan out side my bedroom window
