Excetuando a fraca limpeza do Hotel, o cheiro a fritos no hall, a pouca simpatia dos funcionários, o estado degradado das instalações, o estado mediocre da roupa da cama e das toalhas, a fechadura da porta do quarto quase impossível de abrir (era quase à marretada) e o péssimo pequeno-almoço (fiquei 3 noites e só tomei no 1º dia), nada a assinalar.

I felt the whole experience of my stay at the lyndon guest house was a shambles and disgrace from the second I walked into theire reception till the moment I happily handed my key back. the staff were a disgrace, the hotel stank terribly of a putrid and sharp smell and the i was given room was of a standard i would expect in a 3rd world country. i will not be using nor reccomending the lyndon guest house again (if anything i will be voicing my distaste about this thro social media websites to warn other travellers about there property) as the amount of money and time consumed was in no way satisfactory. a really unhappy traveller, phil rennie

It's not a quiet zone but it's near the city centre..

The hotel was ugly : dirty and in a very bad shape..i won't ever came back

We could not stay there, because the room was literally falling apart!

The room was disgusting- the shower wasn't cleaned. The wall paper was falling off the wall. There were holes in the wall. There was no elevator and we were supposed to stay on the very top floor. Also, it's location was a bit far to walk every day to the center of the city and a bit dangerous to walk back at nighttime.

My main problem was that they insisted on photocopying the personal identification document they requested from me. I do not see why they needed to keep a record of it...hotel policy they said! My only other request would be for some brown bread, not just white for breakfast. A small point, the tv was fuzzy.

Liked everything, I dont understand some people who really felt disgraced on this place, maybe that person really want to caught some people's attention. Staff were really nice, beatable price in dublin, and near the center. Feel sorry for those people whose trying to say bad comments here..not true at all. Will recommend this

Small house, no table.

The staff were helpful and friendly. It was a basic but clean place.

The shower and toilet were on a raised level which was a bit difficult to manage. The house is old and needs repair. Windows are single glazed so street sounds are not blocked out.

It was within walking distance to the city centre and rail stations.

On arrival unable to take credit/debit cards even though web site with we booked through stated card would hold room payment was required on arrival. If we had know there was no way of paying by card we would have taken more cash with us, I feel the owners could have pointed this out in their email which we were sent asking us our aprox. Arrival time.

It was fairly central

The main bathroom light was not working , the mirror light was not working , the bedside light was not working but flashing. The main bathroom light bulb was replaced after my complaint. The place would be in need of repair and regular cleaning. The male person who served the breakfast does not present well , there is no effort made to look smart. The breakfast menu's were dirty and needed replacement. We received a plate of toast with our breakfast to my shock and horror the bread though toasted was green moulded , I returned this and the person said sorry but did not seem surprised.

Bathroom was damp and skirting board rotting away. Could hear everything in rest of house, outdated, no toilet paper, plug source was faulty
