Friendliest Staff you could meet, family run and they act like it. Frank the barman exceeded service, and made us feel like we left with a friend. Huge very comftable bed, great views, wonderful bar with open fire, very traditional nice mix of local clients too. The coffee- But hey the Guinness is great so who needs coffee

The hotel was really welcoming and the receptionist was really helpful - in fact all the staff were very helpful and friendly. The bar was great craic especially on the Saturday afternoon with the Ireland France pre world cup rugby match!! The food and breakfast were very good. Our room was very spacious and quiet with a pleasant view over the river. We were there to visit and walk in Glendalough. We werent dissappointed even though the weather was mixed - a really beautiful area with an abundance of walks. We will return to Lynhams at some time in the not too distant future. Absolutely no adverse comments

Location is great. Food very nice in pub. I asked for a quiet room and was given furthest from pub. Was very quiet in corridors etc once you left the pub part. A few noisy people at 2am in room next door but that can happen in any hotel. Staff at reception very nice. Devils glen nearby is great for a 5k walk. Price was a bit steep but it was bank holiday.

visited local attractions and beuty spots. Excellent location as very central. Double bed was huge but not particularly comfortable as it was 2 singles joined together which meant there was a lumpy join running down the centre

Room 112 was clean and spacious. Nice bathroom, good strong shower and lovely bath. The food, served in the pub, was good value for money. The bed was absolutely kingsize: Great, even for a 55+ couple! But why have woollen blankets? Why not quality duvets? It's 2011!!! We stayed in the hotel early March. There wasn't much atmosphere, One would expect a more Irish, rural context. The fire had 'died ' at about ten o'clock. Pity. Instead of noisy TV and popmusic, why not have some genuine Irish music: life or even on CD? No real jam at breakfast.
