The Majestic Hotel  

The hotel was convenient to both Tramore and to Waterford City. Staff were friendly and helpful, but not overbearing. Reception was pleasant, rooms clean, and food excellent. Good value for money. We will definitely return.

it was ok in a good spot

to quiet no entertainment at all rooms were cold and had to go outside for a smoke which the room was paid 4 and we should have been allowed smoke as it was suppose to be ur home for the break

As we were attending a wedding in the hotel it was an ideal location. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The location of the hotel is excellent looking over the bay, hotel staff very freindly and obliging, food was good and presented well.

The hotel was very child friendly and accomodated kids very well whether it be in the bar or at breakfast. The bar staff were exceptionally friendly and pleasant. The food both in the bar and restaurant was really good value, it has a very relaxing feel and is ideal for a quiet weekend away, i would definetly return again

I have two things that i did have a problem with, all of the receptionists were very bad mannered and one in particular was down right rude, as these people are the first to greet guests i think a course in good manners might benefit the hotel, on my departure i didn't even get a thank you!! the second thing is the housekeeping only fresh towels were left, no bins emptied, and the beds not made up properly, having said that i would stay there again as the exceptional good manners and the friendliness of the other staff made it a pleasant stay

The best thing about The Majestic Hotel was the Restaurant. The meal was excellent, beautifully presented and excellent tasting. The staff in the Restaurant were very polite, attentive and very professional. We only stayed for one night as we were travelling on to Mallow.

The bar did not, in my opinion, live up to hotel standards. Although there was entertainment in the evening the place was full of children which left very little room for adults arriving after 8.30. We ended up sitting outside which would have been fine if heaters had been provided after one drink we retired to the room. Very disappointing.

Decor old fashioned the beds are comfortable but too small

Hotel was extremely clean everywhere and staff were very helpful

Food closed way to early found it difficult to find anywhere in Tramore to eat

The award would have to go to the friendliness and kindness of the staff, all were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble, we had a very enjoyable stay and nothing was rushed, didn't feel underpressure.

There wasn't anything really that I didn't like.
