Modern, clean and comfortable with friendly staff. WI FI throughout.
Meeting room accessed through the dining room. (Salvation Army on the Sunday morning.) People off the streets walking among the breakfast diners and the "FIRE DOOR, KEEP CLOSED" was wedged open to give them access.
The cappuccino was very poor.
Liked everything about hotel and would definitely recommend to others ! Would stay again no problem.
Bed was comfortable, breakfast was nice with good selection. Also pizza delivered to room which was a nice touch.
No bath, room was quite small and was too hot, so had to keep window open all the time which gave us a bit of traffic noise which could be bad at times especially in the morning.
Friendly staff, great location, room was very comfortable, bathroom was clean and spacious, extra towels, choice of tea and coffee, check out is before 12 noon unlike other places, wifi was great and easy to connect to.
There were people smoking right in front of the hotel entrance
Room very comfortable, air conditioning worked well. Great to have free wifi. Staff very helpful and polite with plenty of local knowledge on art galleries shopping etc.
The breakfast was alright, but could be improved. Better selection of fruit and a choice of different egg styles i.e. poached, fried would make a big difference. Foyer was very bare, with a lack of comfortable seating, also lighting in restaurant was not great.
Room was not cleaned, towels were not changed and the receptionst just said that they "probably" did not have time to do so. No apologies, no even saying sorry. Double charging of credit card and regular payment. Does not reflect what is on booking.com website.
No food or tea and coffee being served during day when we arrived. Even toasted sandwiches would be good to have served during the day.
My boyfriend and I always stay at this hotel when in Dublin. More like 4* rather than 3! Great staff, location, rooms and breakfast and can order pizza to hotel in early morning. We will be back again and again!
Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable room
Breakfast was poor. Bread was stale, hot food was undercooked.
The room was lovely
Both times we stayed we booked with bookings online, both times when we arrived at the hotel even though we had booked a few hrs before hand we were asked to wait as the booking had not come through yet. This is very frustrating when all you want to do is have a shower and go to bed after a big day in meetings.
Location brillant just 5 minutes walk from ilac centre KFC henry street. Lovli rooms with lots of clean towels tv with a good few channells. Tea and coffee facilities.staff were friendly and helpful.
So close to St Martins got to mass ..and great for the shops just down the street and round the corner ...
That you could not get a snack in early after noon when we arrived
Our room was very small and being disabled quite uncomfortable for me. The hotel is situated on a corner in an area surrounded by council (?) flats with security cameras everywhere. If you happen to smoke cigarettes the ONLY place to do so is out the front door of the hotel where you are likely to be harassed by locals begging for money and /or cigarettes as I was. On the whole a most unpleasant stay and consequently we changed our booking and rebooked elsewhere
Fast check in room was ready before check in time
No major issues can think of
Really comfortable bed and plenty of space
Location Friendly and helpful staff Excellent Breakfast
Traffic could be a bit noisy in front rooms
bathroom v comfort bed v v comtortable
we liked everything will b tell8ng r u friend 2 stay with u
The shower hot water is not hot enough.
- room was clean & room service was good - breakfast till 11:00 which is good when you're on holiday - Hotel very central - Hotel staff were very committed to helping you (help wasnt useful -> see negative points!) - although we had checked out, we could leave our stuff there and use the facilities
- Hotel seemed a bit stingy with towels (double room for 2 persons, only 1 set of towels in the bathroom?) - some car came at 06:00 every day and just stood there for 30-60 minutes WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING! (car delivering breakfast maybe?) rather annoying when you sleep in a room next to the street (in first floor) - breakfast tasted a bit "synthetic" but from what I had heard about English/Irish food, I think it was still above average (I also think that as Austrian I'm used to other standards) - 10,50 Euro p.P. per night seemed excessive for brekafast, no matter what standards you are used to (e.g. orange juice out of the machine was 30% juice 70% water, mushrooms tasted like water, scrambled eggs tasted like water (salt & pepper helps) etc.) - under any circumstances, do NOT ask Hotel staff about anything in Dublin. They seemd to be almost exclusively NOT from Dublin. If you ask them something, they just search in Google, and they cannot even do that (e.g. we asked them for a store where you can rent out bicycles as my credit card didnt work with those public bicycles. They googled & gave us an adress where there was nothing. No store anywhere. Wasted 40 minutes going there and 30 minutes going to the train station). Just once there was an indian lady, apparently from Dublin, who know her way around town
nice and clean, big shower cubicle, good cooked breakfast
It was clean
Unfriendly non native staff. No hot water one day, no cold water the next day after they had 'fixed' it. Broken air con. No good will gesture for issues above. Poor staff attitude on check out.
Lady at the check in was very friendly and cooperative
The room was comfortable. Great sleep. Blackout curtains definitely were a good idea. Very clean.
Not fully clear explanation on the information of how to gain access to the car park especially with all the one way streets.
