The room was just perfect very relaxing and clean and the location of the hotel was spot on.I cant wait to go back in february.:-)
Massive double bed (2singles pushed together nicely) 25euro each per night was extraordinary value for December Will return
Room very dark. Only light comes from bedside table lamps. Wifi would work on laptop but not on iPhone or iPad. The bar area is not very comfortable. It's combined with breakfast room/resteraunt etc. very multipurpose and not somewhere I like to sit and enjoy a few drinks.
Hotel was clean, comfortable and convenient. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Would definitely consider staying again.
Friendly staff Good service
A little to far out
great location for shopping. meal at the restaurant was lovely.
on a main road so traffic during the night was loud.
Only in Dublin for one night but Hotel was exactly what was needed. Staff were lovely, and even allowed us to check in before time which was very useful! within walking distance to everything but also within a reasonable distance to the airportvia taxi
Only small issue was the previous occupants of the room had left an 'interesting' smell which somewhat lingered even though the cleaners had just been in the room-few liberal sprays of perfume though n was bearable!
We really enjoyed our last minute night away. The hotel was lovely, our room was warm and cosy when we returned back after being out in the cold all day shopping too!
The wifi... Receptionist said we had to sign in to avail of the wifi but it didn't, just said we were connected but couldn't do anything. Very frustrating but not that we really needed the internet!
I've stayed at Maldron hotels before and the reason I choose these hotels is that all their hotel are fantastic value and top notch. Excellent service, rooms spotless, comfy beds, good food and helpful staff. When you get a good deal on a hotel it doesn't mean that the hotel is of sub standard.... Maldron hotels are always family friendly...from Dublin,Wexford, Galway etc...we have stayed in all of them and each one strives to accommodate your every need.
Good size room and bathroom, Free Wi-Fi, Helpful Staff.
Hotel was fine, room was lovely very clean, warm and comfortable. Location was good, though a little further away from O'Connell street than I thought.
Should not have to pay an additional €10 for early check in when there are plenty of rooms available. This fee was not clearly advertised anywhere until we arrived at desk. It's extremely mean and un-necessary. I could understand an extra charge if you were checking in early morning e.g 6 or 7am but not at 11.30 when the room is ready and waiting to be let. Found this very mean when already paying so much for the room.
The hotel was warm comfortable and relaxed. The staff were all polite and helpful and it was good value for money.
The lighting in the bedrooms was too poor for reading. My friend would have liked fruit salad at breakfast.
£55 for a supposed double room
Location - a long walk from the main shopping area, unlike they claim in the blurb My double room turned out to be four single beds The staff - hammering on the door at exactly 12 noon asking us to leave, followed by a phone call to evict as 12.02pm - charming!!
asked for a double room for me and my girlfriend, instead got two single beds pushed together, would have expected a double bed for €80 per night
I liked the location of the property.
Upon arrival I had to wait a very long day to check in without any apologie off the staff, the television in the room made a buzzing noise and I couldn't turn it up past 30 in terms of volume. We were awoken at 10am and our door was opened by the house cleaning staff while we were still in bed and at 12pm sharp we were disturbed again even though we had told the staff we were departing they kept knocking it was an overall very disappointing experience and for 70 euro a night you expect a better standard.
We liked the friendly attitude from the staff, helpful in any way and directly taing care of questions.
Very "motel like".....doesn't have any real atmosphere... lobby, reception, dining area and bar all share the same space...basement car park is tiny.
Staff were great
Breakfast was average
The location of the hotel was excellent. It was easy to find, the bus from the airport drops you off very close to it. No need for extra transport to the hotel. The staff were very accommodating. I arrived a few hours before my check-in time and they allowed me to use the room straight away which was very helpful as it allowed me to rest after my early flight. The staff helped me to locate the place where I had my meetings and found the bus number for me to get to the place. The changed my notes so I could take the bus as only exact change is allowed. Very helpful. Highly recommended.
Very little I didn't like, it was a good experience overall. Perhaps the food was not what I was expecting after all the great reception I had from the staff. The food was cold when it arrived at my table and it was not good value for money. The breakfast was also not that highly rated but less than average, disappointed. I have to add that the staff were very good and accommodating in the restaurant though. When using a card to pay, it would be good if I could add the tip as I didn't have the cash to do it as I only arrived on that day so no change with me. Although I would have liked to have left a tip due to the service. This needs to be addressed as the staff are hard-working and friendly.
I found that with a few of your staff there was a bit of a language barrier but we managed.
The room was nice warm welcome to me and my friend
Room was cold... Had to use the duvet from spare bed to keep warm.. Otherwise no complaints at all
Friendly staff Well appointed room Recycling policy Tasty dinner menu Great value
We liked the friendly efficient staff, comfortable bed and cleanliness of the room including bathroom. The excellent breakfast and good value evening meal. This is the third Maldron Hotel we have stayed at and have never been disappointed.
The location and distance from Connolly Station had it been pouring from rain.
I have always liked the Maldron Hotel group but sadly their prices have gone up and up! It's put me off staying there over the last few months.
Booked to stay on the Saturday night of the Ire v SA game. Found the prices very reasonable. The room was perfect for what we needed and good cleanliness. Small car park in the basement, however a bit tight so don't bring the pickup.
