The bar comprises 2 areas. The first is a cosy retreat with plump couches and a log fire crackling in the background. The other has a more lively, atmospheric meeting place, where bar lunches and snacks are served daily.
Roscommon Castle (3 km) - Now in ruins, Roscommon Castle was built around the reign of Edward I, built on rising ground in the North of the town. After changing hands several times, the castle fell into the hands of Cromwellians, who demolished it in 1652.
Boyle Abbey (5 km) - The magnificent restored ruins of the Cistercian Abbey founded in 1161. It is still regarded as the finest of the Cistercian churches to survive in Ireland with the majesty of the south arcade unparalleled elsewhere in the country.
The child rate is only applicable for double bedrooms if sharing with 2 paying adults.

The Bed was very good a great nights sleep. There free wireless internet is not true infact its cable only.You have to to nice and ask reception for the cable. |

The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was very comfortable and clean and the food - both dinner and breakfast - was excellent. The hotel has very good facilities including a pool and free internet. |

Little bit of a mix up on check in, but we were upgraded to a fantistic room in the original house. Quickly and professionally dealt with.I've stayed in a lot of hotels and this is a gem of a hotel. |

It was welcoming, accommodating us in restaurant when we hadnt booked, excellent food. The room and bed were v comfortable and free from outside noise. As in most hotels, the walls a little thin |

Günstiges Preis Leistungsverhältnis, freundliches Personal und recht gute Küche.Das Hotel selbst und der Wellnessbereich sind Neubauten. Im Hallenbadbereich war keine Sitzmöglichkeit gegeben. Das Dampfbad war defekt. Die Fenster im Speiseraum könnten außen das Putzen vertragen (Spinnweben) |
