A warm welcome awaits you in this family run hotel, nestling in the picturesque village of Tullycross, in the breathtaking Renvyle area of Connemara, one of Europe's great areas of natural unspoilt beauty. This is a majestic landscape of mountains, beaches, lakes and rivers. It is the ideal location for touring, walking, mountain climbing, sight seeing and fishing, close to Kylemore Abbey and Connemara National Park.

This hotel is renowned for its excellent food and warm hospitality. Newly built in 2003, the hotel's beautifully decorated bedrooms are modern and spacious with free Wi-Fi internet access.

10 minutes drive from the nearest white sandy beach, Kylemore Abbey and Connemara National Park, this is an ideal location for exploring the unspoilt paradise of Connemara. This area is one of Europe's last great unspoilt areas of natural beauty. Pristine clear beaches, wild Atlantic waters, majestic mountains, lakes, rivers and peat bogs are waiting to be found. Climb the Diamond Mountain in Connemara National Park. Via the pathway and steps to the top, the views of Twelve Pins are truly amazing. The village of Tullycross is one of Ireland's most picturesque villages, and the thatched cottages in the village add a special atmosphere.

good value and a convenient location

we had asked for a quiet room and got one overlooking a courtyard where there was a noisy extractor fan - we got moved but could still hear the fan.

I liked how quiet and peacefull it was and the way they did not bombard me with loud music in the early mornings. The food was simple, but well cooked and presented. The staff were very friendly and took care to make me feel at home from arrival to depature. I would be very happy to stay there agian.

I wouldn't mind seeing a few more vegitarian options on the menu.

The hotel was clean and very friendly staff.

The only thing that comes to mind is that the bar was full of staff and we were not made to feel very comfortable.

The Hotel was a very clean ,it was friendly and relaxed and the food was excellent and great value for money all round .One of the great hospitality gems in the west of Ireland.Will come again..

Friendly front desk staff and breakfast staff. Good location. Great breakfast, good choices.

The dinner menu was limited and on both nights we ate there the chowder was not available which was a pity. Some of the staff were not very attentive.
