Warm cosy rooms and overall atmosphere Staff were great and the food was delicious and at a good price. definitely recoomend
No real negatives
Our dining room waitress, Jennifer was wonderful, at tentative but not overly so. The food was also excellent.
Breakfast was good, staff friendly and hotel clean
Bar was very quiet.
Mary and Monica were lovely so were the rest of the staff, couldn't do enough for my mother and I. Breakfast was great. Good selection. Beautiful location. Good value for money Definitely will return
The room we were given had wonderful mountain views and was spotlessly clean. The hotel is convenient to local pubs and very quiet. Staff friendly and helpful.
Very friendly helpful staff. Large comfortable room. Everything very clean. Bath, not just shower.Good food, reasonably priced wines. Good Wifi in room. Situated in magnificent mountain and coastal scenery. Great breakfast pancakes.
Room looked out onto central well, so no view of the beautiful surroundings. Parking rather limited - just a few spaces in front of the hotel and adjoining properties.
The location, the staff, the view from my room the room itself, the pub next door but one which sold great food.
Friendly staff. Good breakfast with good selection of cooked breakfast options. Excellent food in the restaurant. Tip: the pub next door (out the door to the right) is a nice place for a drink.
Poor wifi connection. It works good in the restaurant and lobby.
The location is excellent. Décor very pleasant. We had a very enjoyable dinner in the dining room, and the kitchen staff went out of their way to please.
A very peculiar smell in a bedroom. This led to a lot of discomfort
Everything about this hotel is professional yet homely, well done to the friendly staff...we will return in the spring!
Very friendly staff, we arrived early and she changed our room so that we could check in straight away. Lovely dinner in the bar and nice breakfast.
Lovely food. Rooms basic but comfortable. It's a nice little hotel. Nice staff.
Very friendly hotel
Ideally located for visiting Connemarra, has 2 good pubs either side of the hotel.
Having to come home !
We booked two nights at this hotel after passing it earlier in the week and we were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by the staff. The room assigned to us was clean and very comfortable and the food is the restaurant was excellent as was breakfast. I can't fault this hotel in any way and if you are looking for a quiet relaxing break in the heart of Connemara then book this hotel. We look forward to our next visit.
Unfortunately there is limited parking at the Hotel and we found it difficult to park after a day touring around. Maybe there should be assigned parking for Hotel guests.
Quiet room (towards rear) comfortable bed, and good breakfast
WiFi non-existent at rear (due to be upgraded soon apparently).
Hotel in great location. Staff were very nice. Only ate in bar.
Rooms need to be updated
Location location location
No lounge poor bar
I liked how it was located in the middle of nower and the beaches around it were amazing! Also liked how friendly the staff and people that lived in the village were. Great comfort.
The only bad thing I would have I say is the wifi connection wasn't available in the rooms. And this is one of the things we needed so we knew were to go and see
excellent location and very helpful staff
Easy going ,relaxing no fuss
Had the friendliest, most courteous and helpful staff I have encountered. Made pour family feel like we were part of their family.
Reliability of wi-Fi.
The hotel is located in a very charming village, close to breathtaking Connemara views. There is also a restaurant in the hotel, which is good. This place is not so expensive and very nice.
