Good location-close to town&station Fresh Breakfast Clean and cosy room Nice host Good WIFI
The location was just superb. I had a wedding in Charleville and the B&B is also in that area. If I had to travel outside the B&B, I could get a lift from the lovely people from the B&B. Well done, superb stay!
Friendly Service Comfortable and clean rooms Excellent Breakfast Would definitely recommend to anyone
Very hospitable and generous.
The customer service was excellent. We were welcomed with a cup of tea and biscuits. The breakfast was tasty and huge. The restaurant next door was superb too.
If you are a very light sleeper bring ear plugs as you are fairly close to a main road.
Everything, the stay could not have been better.
The time to leave.
Personal attention, breakfast, off road parking.
Little bit remote, although Restaurant next door was OK.
Friendly comfortable and convenient. Great breakfast will certainly use again.
only complaint is the toilet very tight.
Bathroom in single room was the size of a closet. Luckily, I wasn't that big. Made due as my stay was brief.
very friendly and accomodating host breakfast was excellent with lots of variety
Very quiet location and great breakfast
Bathroom was very small
THE BREAKFAST! People so kind. Chats with other traveller. Close to everywhere. Nice stay!
No walking possible avoiding the quite busy road.
The friendly welcome. The comfortable bed (best nights sleep for ages). The fabulous breakfast. The view. Marengo is a gem - I will definitely stay there again whenn visiting this lovely part of Ireland.
First class in every respect! The warmth of the welcome and the friendly hospitality I received throughout my stay were quite exceptional. A lovely, comfortable room with a delightful view of the countryside. A superb, home-cooked Irish breakfast was served - not to mention the numerous cups of tea and biscuits in the evening. There are many interesting places to visit in the area, and it is a fine base for a walking or motoring holiday. I shall make a point of staying here again!
Absolutely nothing to dislike! Thank you for making my stay such a pleasant experience.
Lovely fresh breakfast. No ghastly music!
We had a very pleasant and relaxing stay in Marengo B&B. We're long distance walkers and appreciated the comfort of this b&b very much. The bed was good, as were the breakfast and the hospitality of the owner. Another plus was that the b&b is situated right next to a restaurant, so that we didn't have to walk an extra mile to have a good meal.
I was staying in the Marengo while on business in Charleville in Cork. Everything about the property was fantastic! I usually stay in hotels, but on this occasion chose to stay in a B&B. This was my FIRST experience for almost 20 years and this place was first class! Ensuite rooms, with WiFi and some very friendly hospitality upon arrival! JUST what I needed after a 20hour day!
I couldn't think of one thing I didn't like about my stay. Everything was very efficient and the service was just first class! So much so I hope to return to this part of west cork with my wife later in 2014 and will be hoping that the Marengo has some spare capacity!!
I liked the very warm welcome and hospitality i received from Conor, the owners son, when i arrived at the B&B. He made me feel very welcome and brought tea and buscuits to my room on arrival. The owners of the accomodation provided a homily atmosphere, home made cooking and evening snacks and a well varied breakfast prior to my departure. All in all i would have no problem whatsoever in recommending Marengo Guest Accomodation and would definitely stay there again in the future. :))
The room was v cosy and had an excellent en suite shower, v comfortable bed.
nothing to dislike
