Redone Hotel with crisp modern feeling. Very clean, and all needs met. Excellent breakfast and within a five minute walk to the DART (rapid transit). Hotel was the beginning reentry to the States, as is was more modern than traditional Irish. This is not a hit against the hotel only my personal taste. Great Modern Hotel

Staff moved me to a sea-view room with no problem at all. Beds were comfy throughout and rooms spacious and clean, depite some beauty spots. Great for uk standard! Area is great, supermarket is around the corner. Bus access right in front of hotel, dart is a 10 minute walk.

Pool area needs some renovation (tiles broken) and pool showers were too cold. Rooms: hot-cold faucets in some rooms should be replaced with mix- water faucets. Mini-bar fridge missing, would have been nice for desserts etc. breakfast buffet needs more & better quality options on bread. Toast was cheap and tasted like paper.

Good size double room. Friendly staff. Food/breakfasts good. Very pleasant outlook at rear of hotel.

Too warm in room initially until we had worked out how to turn off rather ancient radiator. Communal computer/internet access place is a bit grotty.

Draughty cold room due to incomplete seal on window, asked reception for masking tape which never arrived, paper was stuffed into frame to reduce gap but this was totally ineffective. Food was awful

Staff especially reception and Sebastian (restaurant manager). Room: good size & very clean Cleanliness throughout the hotel Food - breakfast & dinner excellent Swimming pool - lovely & warm; very relaxing.

Slow breakfast service Room 234 probably best not described as sea view due to flat roof etc. obscuring it. Swimming pool area looking dated.

We loved the view over Howth and the sea from our bedroom window. We liked the spacious room. Great value,pleasant staff,convenient to the Dart for visiting Dublin and the opportunity for a beach walk in the morning was the icing on the cake.

I have stayed here on a number of occasions and each time been thoroughly satisfied.

The only thing that i did not like where my pillows which where instantly changed , following my request for softer ones.

Room price was v.good, hotel was clean, staff polite & efficient and food in the restaurant was good. The hotel was very quiet too, which suited us but is maybe a bit worrying for them.

wifi access, although free was very patchy.

The Marine Hotel was in an excellent location for reaching Howth and Dublin on the Dart. It has lovely views over the sea and towards Howth. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the price was good. The pool and sauna/steam room facilities were basic but very welcome.

The only down side was that the bar smelt of smoke as the prevailing wind blew in when smokers entered and left but there were plenty of other areas to sit in so it wasn't a terrible problem.

New block proved quite a hike for my elderly mother.

It's a great spot for visiting Howth and so easy to get to the City if you want to. The view of the bay is wonderful.

Entrance / Egress to hotel from the Howth Rd. The traffic junction is dangerous.

Not alot in the area as we had to travel to Howth which is only 3km for entertainment.

I liked the location near the sea and convenient to the city centre. The food was very good indeed. I stayed there for my brother's (Kieran) 60th birthday party. We were well looked after by a friendly staff. The staff on reception were friendly and welcoming.
