Everything the staff the place it self 100%
I liked the grounds, hotel décor and some of the friendly staff.
Only formal dining on an evening. Staff quite aloof (bar one very friendly girl).
mattress on bed was just too hard for restful sleep
Everything especially the gardens and the lake and woodland
An exceptional hotel accommodation and food excellent. Still manages to maintain a VERY high standard and catering I would certainly go out of my way to stay there again
Nothing at all
I loved the way we were treated, very special. We were so relaxed after our stay, it was just brilliant.
That we couldn't stay longer.
Friendly courteous staff
expensive wine list
The whole ambience Perfectly polite staff The beautiful gardens Excellent food
Shower bit dodgy so used bath instead! Wifi not available in room
Food wonderful. A sense of peace and tranquility conducive to a relaxing 'get away from it all' break pervades. The garden is wonderful. The roses a joy to behold. Would recommend Marlfield highly.
Having to change rooms due to faulty shower. The bed in the second room not long enough for a tall man as my husband.
Food, gardens and service
Vagueness about what was on offer and a bill that was a little surprising. sometimes pleasantly. A slight feeling that wedding arrangements were a major priority, perhaps understandably. Few young people mainly OAPs
Excellent cuisine and courteous service. Beautiful setting and lovely classical features.
Absence of lift and poor support on stairway. Bed in Room 2 was not very comfortable and pillows too hard.
Enjoyable stay but expensive and no spa or other facilities included
Loved the decor
food could have been better, not up to prices
Warm friendly staff staff and pleasant surrounding
Wi-Fi not available in room
Old fashioned charm, well trained staff, fine cuisine. Lovely rooms. Beautiful gardens.
Shower and bathroom small
The air of peace and tranquility Nice friendly efficient staff. The beautiful breakfast
Bathroom shower etc rather dated at least in my room which seems to have been the same room I had each time I stayed. Problem with the toilet flushing etc
Luxury, ambience and olde world atmosphere. Excellent attention to detail & service.
