Location was ideal as we were at an event at the Thatch which was just a few mins walk away. Hosts were very helpful and welcoming. Nice breakfast. Hate to be negative in any way as owners are so nice but I have to be honest with feedback and say that although the room had everything you need, it was just too small to be a double - you literally could not swing a cat! OK for one night especially as we only slept a few hours there, but would not enjoy the room for a longer stay-really should be a single sorry to say.

Mary and Willy are really lovely people. Their kindness makes the stay worthly: on my arrival I have been welcomed with a cup of tea and a slice of home made apple pie (very nice indeed). Breakfast is awesome and free wi-fi is at top speed. Within walking distance there's a good gastro pub (and you get a 10% discount on food, if you are staying at the Maryville). Will definitely stay there if again in the area I would have liked a chair in the room to work at the desk (I'm a business traveller), but I almost didn't finish my request that it was immediately brought to me.

Very gracious hosts. Breakfast was excellent with everything homemade. The home was out in the country so we were able to walk the roads without worrying about traffic.
